I'm surprised that there isn't a thread about this awesome manga! Was reading it thinking it will just be a generic romance manga (boy was I wrong)

Spoiler for Summary:

This manga is amazing! Totally not what you are expecting from the covers. After reading the first few chapters I was hooked, the story gets quite dramatic but doesn't lack the occasionaly humour and the underlying romance.

I can't believe people haven't mentioned this manga.

I've read it, it was pretty good early on, but then it just got plain strange.

im surprised that there isnt much interest in this manga. the action might not be as good as others but the story is really well done. especially the latter half (part 2: lacrima), the story gets a rather tragic feel to it.

just to let anyone interested know, the translation for this manga is about to be done soon

i ve actually thought it was gonna be a pissingly boring manga and bad at the begining it just screamed of" this have been done to death already". Well now i have a high respect for this awesome manga that can touch you on so many levels.
Good read for those of you who wish to pleasantly surprised.

Volumes 1-9 were great. Volume 10 onwards seems a bit "meh"

Read only the first chapter so far, wasn't sure if I should continue. The majority in this thread is saying it's good, so maybe I'll continue tomorrow.

Read up to Volume 12. Personal comment is: the manga done really well at individual arcs, but got loose at overall story. What's a pity.
For example:
Spoiler for Lulu:

In another words: great idea, great development, but weak at small details and link between each arcs

Yeah that just threw me... this also has one of the most awkward and inept time skips I've seen in an anime or manga. Really put me off from continuing this manga...

Yes it does get confusing, but hey it's still quite interesting! I enjoy the very shoujoish presentation of gar they have displayed with the main character lol!

When i first saw him transform i was like hey look a bishy gar character!

I'll probably finish it but I'm really annoyed at what they did with Lulu, really annoyed. I mean it was obvious she was never going to "win" but to go from "If there's no Lulu I don't care if the world ends" to pretty much ignoring her just pushed the wrong buttons with me. Even ignoring what they did to Lulu (who is my fav character in this manga) after the time skip the rest of it is still one of the worst conceived and implemented time skips I've ever seen. It's like the author didn't care anymore...
