rg4619, well you have to understand that JC Staff as studio is not inflicting much hope when they create their own original stuff - look at SnS2 or Znt to see how royally they can screw up good series when they go original way.
Yet it is always directors, and even such, rather notorious studio for their very bad original adds like JC Staff, might have some luck in there, and Mari Okada really can do just fine and break the JC Staff curse, but I would still not risk it. JC Staff is not the studio you would want to stray off the original plot. |

If you want to cheer up, there is a phrase from ''Kino no Tabi the beautiful world ''than could work : 世界は美しくない. そしてそれは故に, 美しい ( The wourld is not beautiful. Therefore, it is.)

Not clear on that myself, but I suspect that was normally the point at which the "proud parents" would be on stage and Ryuuji had some crazyass idea he'd stand in. Fortunately
, the Student Council decided to move the program forward and Ryuuji lost the chance to implement. If so, it was a lovely bit of writing because he *tried* to do something cheezy and "real life" intervened.

Lovely episode and a great way to end the arc. Great conversations between Ryuji and Minorin and I enjoyed the way Ami interacted with Taiga, as well. Kitamura sure seems to concentrate on Taiga whenever Sumire shuts him out, doesn't he? Wonder why...
Anyway, 10/10 from me.

Ryuuji wants Taiga to be happy. He wants to protect her from outside influence that would hurt her. He doesn't think about it. We've spoken before about his nurturing instinct, its a very strong one. But is this indicative of romantic love? Unsure at this time. We shall see.
