LOL. Kotomi is one of the few people who would think of getting a minor in Electrical Engineering because it seems "fun" and "interesting". It would probably be the equivalent of an elective course, like Intro to Spanish.

Honestly, when you're explaining theories about alternate dimensions in it's simplified form and people still don't get it...um, yeah. It's not that they're too dumb to understand it--Sunohara excluded--it's just that you possess Reed Richards-level intelligence.

Although this episode was largely focused on Nagisa's death and Ushio's rebirth, I still couldn't help but take notice of the fashionable twins, especially Kyou. I've always loved the way CLANNAD dressed up their women outside of the school uniform...again, especially Kyou.

Hm, I think that the whole thing of nagisa's death made a bigger impression on me when i saw it in the clannad movie. But seeing that crappy ED after the dying scene was the final push for moving on.

I hope though that we will see a lot more of Ushio than in the Movie.

What the heck happened to Love and Spanner's naming sequence?!

One of the best pieces of comedy just got axed from the series.

I have a habit of responding to posts directed at me. But I'll be sure to use a pm for personal attacks from now on, thanks for reminding me.

Anyways, my hat goes off to all single parents out there (if I was wearing one). Tomoya and Ushio got a rocky road ahead of them, hopefully they'll make it through okay.

It wasn't meant as a personal attack, but as a reminder that if there is a difference in men and women psychology and thought process, it is specially true when talking about one's offspring.

Heh I'd have liked to see the rest of Yuusuke's route too. The part where Tomoya randomly brought Akio in was halarious. There was some cute Nagisa and Tomoya interaction there too.

Just felt like piping in on what was mentioned earlier on this thread, regarding Nagisa's theme.

I first heard this track when I got CLANNAD's OST simply because I love Key's music, not knowing anything regarding CLANNAD save for it having the theme of family and spring. Back then Nagisa was my favorite track, it sounded very sad, and my opinion is still the same. So I honestly don't get why anyone's saying it's a "happy" track.

And regarding this episode, I didn't see anything wrong with it. I feel bad for KyoAni, people have too high expectations for them, which seems to be their downfall ^^; (am I one of the few who can't wait for a Little Busters! adaption?). Also, after seeing episode 17 maybe some of you wont hate the ED Torch so much... (I could never hate anything sung by Lia to start with, though.)

Spoiler for AIR and CLANNAD: I really couldn't choose which death scene I found more depressing. I could rewatch either a number of times, and begin crying or sobbing for both. Misuzu is one of my favorite characters, and Nagisa really grew on me, so in the end they both deal a hard blow.
