Stalled Manga series that should be completed?

Yes, I stole this title from the anime thread of the same name, because I was wondering how many other people were desperately waiting for someone to pick-up and finish a series that had been consigned to limbo. I'm not as interested in series that were dropped due to licensing, although I do have a few series in license limbo right now ("Sola" and "Hakoiri Devil Princess" leap to mind), but am more interested in those that will never see an "official" English translation. I can't really gripe at the scanlators, as they do the work for free; so this is a place to whine at will.

I can start off with a couple:

Chokotto Sister

Hanaukyo Maids

So mana that don't even know where to start

Well, i will list several old school manga first:

Shounan Junaigumi!

Kotaro Makaritoru! L

Get Backers and Glass no Kamen (I know it's being done. But so slowly )

The two Spiral Series.

And i agree, Chokotto Sister too. It was nearly done...

I'm more dissatisfied with the manga that keeps going and going on without reaching a conclusive end - Berserk, Gantz, Naruto, One Piece, Ah! My Goddess...
And yes, Glass Mask is amongst them.

For me, i like long series since it often provides time for complex plot development (though not always the case)

But shouldn't this topic be about Scanslated manga that was dropped....

Already been mentioned above, but Glass Mask (Garasu no Kamen) and Kotaro Makitoru! L

Not the sort of series you'd expect to be twinned... though there was actually a reference to Glass Mask in Shin Kotaro Makitoru.

I would guess this is my bad, in that I was not as clear as I had intended. In theory, this is about Scanslated manga series that were never completely scanslated, not manga series that the author/publisher never finished. Sorry about that.

It got into hiatus and then stopped by CLAMP. But as far as the published chapters, they were all scanslated.

You should edit your OP then.

SKM Volume 14, page 7

Basically, Kotaro fakes being choked... and after showing it again, claims to have used "Kitajima Maya-chan" level acting. There's a note from the author saying Maya's the main character from shoujo manga "Glass Mask", with genius-like acting skills.

I don't remember the English scanlations getting that far (stopped at v10 IIRC).

Indeed. At least I can read Japanese and buy the originals - last time I went to Japan, I bought the lot.

This by far.

I was thinking I had more, but the problem with those is that they are getting scanlated, it's just that it goes very slow.

That's just a huge pain in the ass. I've had so many of those manga that my reading list now become so huge...

I read all of SKM too, but not in English. Crappy translation, so no detail you mentioned. You know how far the series is going? I read up to the part they enter the ninja base..

I'll go with fate/stay night for the time being. I heard it was based on the ubw arc which happened to be my favorite. So far only up to volume 3 is translated.
