Glad to see that you're going to watch the anime. An adaptation couldn't be any better than Cross Game, you won't be disappointed.

I'm trying to make an avatar series for myself of the mid-episode splashes up until the current one. Problem is I can't get both of them together unless I squash it lol. Guess I'll focus on Kou.

I haven't made any Cross Game av/sigs so far (well, except a Nomo av in the request thread), but since I like the idea I can help.

Starting with signatures, why don't we go with a set like this?

Spoiler for tidy:

I think I should add a "Cross Game" text in each one, since the existing english isn't readable. And of course, they should be claimed in an equal manner (ie not everyone using the last or not everyone using the first).

As for the avatars, I don't think we should use only Kou because I don't think he would be much appealing for people who doesn't know the series. Also, static or animated?

Thank you, and sorry for making you do all this work without asking you first. Yeah, putting a Cross Game text in them would be a good idea. Possibly linking the image to this thread or to the ANN page.

Here are the signatures with text. Since there are people who want to add their own text above or below, and people who don't, I made 2 versions for each of them.

Batch #1 : the following are the signs at 160 px height. If you use one of these you can't add any text. Just use the signature and that's it.

Spoiler for Batch #1:

Batch #2: the following were resized and adjusted to 120 px height, therefore if you use one of these you can add up to 2 lines of text (blank lines included), as per Forum's Signature Rules.

Spoiler for Batch #2:

As per using the sig combined with a link, here's how it works.

Spoiler for Instructions:

@MeoTwister5, of course you can take that, or better take the new version.

It seems that all five of them have been taken, hence a cycle is complete. Let me start a new one by taking the fifth one. It's not important if some people use the same sign, it's important that a "3 persons use sign A, 1 person uses sign B, 7 persons C use sign C... etc" scenario doesn't happen

Thanks I'll be taking the new one then. Now to find a good place to start spreading the Word of the Church of Kitamura after I make a animated avy.

Here's a bunch of OP shots I got of Kou. Can't get some good OP shots of Aoba for some reason, and I avoid Wakaba shots for obvious reasons. I'll probably go through the EDs some time tomorrow for both Kou and Aoba.

Yeah the first episode was brilliant, great hook. It made me read like 120 chapters of manga the next few days since I couldn't wait to see what happened after. Easily went into my top 5 manga...

I think most important is to have the same avatar, but I'm fine with whatever. Of the ones I've been able to get from this thread I guess either Aoba or Kou with the "V" sign would be best.

Unfortunately, the spoilers with Pellissier's signature creations are blank for me... not sure why that is actually, often images in spoilers are blank when I open them.

EDIT: Alright, I was able to access the images by quoting and then copy and pasting the links.

Someone should take Kou's V-sign to match Aoba's.

Huh... the preview for my signature is alright, but it doesn't seem to show up in my posts. Just a big blank area where the signature should be. In fact the same with other people's signatures too. Can anyone else see my signature?

Also, what are people's thoughts on my tag line? I wanted something that has a bit of a hook to it.

EDIT: Okay, figured it out, apparently Firefox is not showing signatures for me. IE shows them just fine.

Welll ok, I did the unspeakable and changed my avatar that I hadn't changed since I joined in Jan 2004. Poor Fujibayashi Suzu. Aw well, it's only for 1 week.

Anyway, be sure to go to other boards and spread the love. Meanwhile I'll go and watch the new episode of that other 2009 top show (Kemono no Souja Erin. Shameless plug.)

Eh, it wasn't easy, taking Chagum and Balsa down. But for Kou, I'll make an exception.
