I like Kokaji Pro because she looks modest yet still kick ass... and nice tastes! Sukoyan/Kouko is my one of my OTPs...

Thanks. I'm just too distracted with her style and Ojou-sama-ness to notice her name.

Ehh? What kanji is that?

Google.

It means Zelkova? As in Zelkova tree? Ok...

More google-fu. Here is what I'm able to find.

Apparently Zelkova is a symbol of a number of Japanese cities and prefectures: Saitama Prefecture, Miyagi Prefecture, Fukushima Prefecture, Fukushima-shi, Abiko-shi, Tachikawa-shi, Yokohama-shi, Machida City in Tokyo Metropolis District and more.
Hmmm.... WMG. These prefectures is going to be important in the spin-off somehow. Maybe the main and rival schools will come from them. ^^

Zelkova is also very important in Korea. This tree represents patience, tolerance, peace and harmony. According to Korean Zelkova love Society, "Overcoming many difficulties, the zelkova grows rich leaves and thick branches to offer spacious shade that people love."

In any town in Korea, there existed a resting place under a zelkova tree. The tree, embodying people’s wishes for the town’s well-being, unity and peaceful existence, often provided shade for people to rest under with its fully grown branches and leaves. Zelkova trees are found growing naturally in all corners of Korea, and are known for their longevity, sometimes living as long as a thousand years. They are known to be one of the best trees of all, because of their supreme quality and beautiful wooden texture.

Because of this, they are often preferred as the material to be used for woodcraft. Zelkova trees have strong immunity against diseases and have clean leaves and stems that were considered to represent scholarly qualities in the past. The longevous and generous characteristics of zelkova trees resemble Seoul National University’s fundamental beliefs: the determination to embrace the entire world’s wisdom as an academic leader and to carry on this determination forever. The school respects the sublime values of a scholar akin to the solid and bold branches of the tree and is prepared to embrace ideas of the world like the wide canopy of the zelkova tree’s branches.

Oh. Its also where the Keyaki wood came from. Which is a very important and very valuable wood in Japan and all over the world. Its mainly used for furniture and taiko drum. Truthfully, I've only heard of this wood in Hikari no go. This is also the wood used to make Go boards. ^^

It's not that... one.

Anyway, Kanna/Shino looks like the main couple. Are they living together, I wonder?

Yeah, it's "築" not "欅" or "月" (I don't know how you could mistake 築 for 欅). jisho.org tells me the meaning is "build; construct; fabricate."

Calm down. Remember that this is monthly manga + its the opening chapter. There are still many pages to come after this.

Actually, I think I saw one comment said (in Chinese) something like "104 pages"
