Does anyone know why all fansubs by StrikeS kill MPCHC unless they have the internal mkv splitter turned off? It's not so much a problem, because I can use Haali, but I just want to know WHY don't their fansubs work with anything other then Haali. StrikeS subs are the only ones who do this

i dont see any reason to use the internal mkv splitter from MPC-HC instead of Haali.
regarding your question, i think it's because they change the ChapterUID to 0, 1, 2 .... from the value that mkvmerge (gdsmux from Haali or whatever program they are using to make the chapters file) automatically generates. i'm no expert, so i'm just speculating
