With all the series where teenagers live on their own, I wonder why we get so few set in dorms? There are occasional shows like Clannad and Ben-to where dorms are a small part of the story, but I can't think of anything more recent than Love Hina where it's the main setting.

What an odd little series ... kinda liked it, to be honest. Very much the 4koma feel in the 3 minute snippets.

Hmm ... will continue trying this one out.

Still a nice little show going on here. Though for a clumsy maid robot, I didn't see much clumsiness.

Hilarity ensues. Though I think the original flash animation had more charm.

Ok I admit that I laughed quite a bit during ep 2.

Somehow the humor during the shorts this season is delivering for me.

The toughest part of April Fools' is getting it set up.

For the first episode featuring Matsukichi at all, there were a lot of cliffs involved, also fish. But my favorite part was the dodobigeregerorinsomething.

Okay - tbh I find this "shorts" series pretty amusing after 4 eps, so I will be keeping this one.

For such a short time frame, the escalating series of gags in episode 5 was nice. Sae's miniature novel on the wish cards was great, as was the amount of stuff brought into the house. And this being Yurumates, everybody gets drunk. Happy Tanabata!

I like this show's sense of comedy. It's comparable to Acchi Kocchi, if a bit shorter. The watermelon splitting stuff was great.

I think this is a fairly accurate comparison, although I must admit that I personally like the charas from Acchi Kocchi much more.

Enjoyed ep 5 in any event.

Shoulda known the battle for the ice cream would end with nobody the victor. Kumi's idea of starting up a band sounds tempting, though.

Heheheh ... well, caught up to ep 7. This show is very good with the small time slot it uses to generate totally random humor.

Simple, yet effective. Living in a place with only two choices, each one picked seemingly at random, I can understand what Yurume was going through. (Just replace "cold" with "rainy")

The whole of the kotatsu sketch was inspired. I've never seen a table be used for that kind of comedy before - though it does require a small apartment like Yurume's to make it work.

A good ep ... bizarre focus around the kotatsu and such, but still good.

There are many things one could take out of the New Years' episode. Yurume and Sae's "hidden talents", Kumi's uncanny fish impressions... but most of all, ritual sacrifice.

The show has also been confirmed for a second season recently.

Contained on that sheet of parchment is most likely Matsukichi's entire life story. Another form of ritual sacrifice for New Years'. The story will conclude with sakura viewing, which will likely not have any ritual sacrifice. You can never be sure with this show.
