This is about to change, the star of the loser is gone. Thank you, Anshin

Wasn't that a dream though? The star should still be there in real life.

Well realistically speaking, the only other options were the double to Medaka, and the double to Ajimu, who were the strongest characters in the series up to that point. Zenkichi can at best match Medaka, while Ajimu is....Ajimu.

Honestly, why does it matter so much if Kumagawa "wins"? We've discussed time and time again that he's capable of doing almost anything. He just says "he couldn't win" because of his mentality. Just paste his "Hadaka Apron Face" after he does something, done.

While it certainly would've been more awesome to see her blow up the star in real life, I think it still works symbolically. The things you think can't be changed can always be changed (if you're omnipotent).

What if that happened in real life and Ajimu could have possibly killed off billions of intelligent beings? These are the thoughts that fuel the oddest fan-theories.

Ajimu probably has a skill that lets her know if there are any alien civilizations in the solar system with that sun

if that leaked top 3 of the character poll is correct, while Zen finally topples Medaka... lol @ him still losing to Akune, and people wanted to play the Zen wasn't featured much card for him sucking in the last poll.

But how can this happen? Because according to you Shiranui is Zen! Note just like that theory of yours, this one is wrong too.

Yup it's correct.

Third Place - Hitoyoshi Zenkichi - 885 votes
Second Place - Akune Kouki - 1084 votes
First Place - Kumagawa Misogi - 2824 votes

This was a vote for girls? Very strange choice.
It is not an interesting character.
He does not play any role in the plot.

Lol.

Stay strange, Japan.

And Medaka isn't in the top three? Where did all the male voters go? Who knows. Maybe this was girls only.

Looks like the number of poll respondents went down from the second one. That's not really good news.

lolwut at Akune coming in second. I did really like his characterization throughout and after the Treasure Hunt arc, but he didn't show up often afterwards at all. In combination with the lowered overall votes (judging by Kumagawa) these results are pretty strange.

Don't forget that the poll votes were made while the anime was playing season one where Akune has a prominent role, so that might have helped getting him votes despite not appearing in the manga for a long time.

That's a good explanation.

Still though, Akune being in the top-2 is strange no matter the scenario. I don't think he was in the top 5 on any of the other polls.

Plus, he's bland as fuck.

This poll is just atypical.

Honestly, this manga's fanbase is as fickle as it's author, Lol.

Damn, how many weeks did take to compile this? Well, I guess...congrats Akune, you're getting there. Zenkichi improved a fair amount, though not to his original position. Seems Kumagawa still takes the top spot.

Status on this week's chapter?

Yeah, just read...looks like Nisio really does want to try and wrap things up. Find it hard to be invested for some reason.
