Haven't seen the ep yet, but I'll weigh in on the OP that I have seen: it takes way too long to get to the good part. I haven't decided if I like Spiral or the end of the new OP better, but They Wasted a Perfectly Good Opening, to me.

"Alternative"'s slow opening will probably seem less draggy in comparison once it's part of a full song. Though there's still about a month and a half until then.

I thought of that, but it's still about half of the minute-thirty opening

I won't judge the song itself until I see whether that's just an opening, or if it's a verse (in which case, the rather great chorus won't be enough for me), but if it is just an opening, why didn't they take more advantage of more peppy further verses?

Maybe they will later in the cour? ...Now I'm just wishing for the moon...

The 1st season got better as it went along, and for some reason i wasnt that lost for this ep as i was at times at the beginning of the 1st season. I hope tomo forms a contract with Kanade soon.

I really dont care for Misao, i am all about Kanade (Mikos ftw)

I hope it's not as disappointing as the first season was. *fingers crossed*

Enormous potential? Enormous potential to bewilder, bufuddle and confuse. Hopefully season 2 will do less of that.

Well I think I stopped this show at around ep 5.

But Season II's OP is pretty good and filled with some interesting stuff.

Well liked the first episode overall. The OP was way too slow though. Will probably end up skipping past that when watching this one. Still liked looking at that first world and getting some answers as to what went down there. Plus there was that nice moment with Tomo and Misao.

No surprise the guy can't use Kurogane. After knowing what would happen he can't do it. But hard to avoid dangerous situations at the same time.

Crunchyroll announced that it had licensed both seasons on September 29, 2009. Source

So far so good, here. The first episode actually answered some questions instead of simply having things happen with no real explanations. If they can keep this up, this season will be far and away better than the first. Misao's still carrying the cast, but it doesn't feel like that's going to be the only thing keeping me around this time.

But it's early yet.

I like the ED better than the OP, mainly due to the forty-five wasted seconds.

@Nvis:
Spoiler:

ETA: OP speculation: That looks like an older Nia throwing the cards. Makes more sense if it's from the first world.

The Op basically showed you who the person was that visited tomoharu in the hospital after the plane crash in season 1.

Spoiler for correct:

BUt i seem that handlers don't really care about the burial dolls at all, they just summon their asura machina everywhere. Do any body know ow many Asura machina exist ?

I think it is 21 asura machinas, well, just wait for a certain person explain to us how many did she build in the 1st world.

Then there should be around 21 handlers in 2nd world isn't it.

21 seems high.
It's honestly been so long since I read the last book (I think it was like march) that I forget, but I simply don't remember there being that many of them.

Is it possible for a handler that have more than 1 machina in possession, and is it possible for an ex handler to have another asura machina

Go back and rewatch all the flash back of season 1 gave me something very interesting.

In ep 7, 16:02, we saw a burial doll with a Miko outfit, called herself the representative of Naotaka Natsume then guess who is our Naotaka.

Well assumed that everybody in this thread have watched season 1 so I will not put this in spoiler tag because it is just my theory after all.

You didn't make a mistake between the twin (Yukari and Shuri ), She made Yukari her burial doll but our so called " Naotaka" some how exchange Yukari and Shuri inside Shirogane, that would explain everything.
