You didn't make a mistake between the twin (Yukari and Shuri ), She made Yukari her burial doll but our so called " Naotaka" some how exchange Yukari and Shuri inside Shirogane, that would explain everything.
So what you're saying is that the Shuri we know is actually Yukari, and the real Shuri is inside the Burial Doll? Again my memory of the later novels is a little hazy, since I marathoned through the whole thing in 2 weeks several months ago, but I seriously don't remember that happening.

It seems some people are forgetting this, but this is the anime discussion thread, and novel spoilers are not welcome here. If you wish to discuss information from the novel, feel free to create a thread in the appropriate section and do so, but please stop spoiling people who venture in to the anime thread with information not yet shown in the show.

Woohoo, another childhood friend couple to squee for, as a replacement to the one that died last episode of last season.

Still doesn't solve the fact that Misao is living on borrowed time. Poor girl, and poor Tomo too, who's probably going to lose her in this world as well in due time... T_T

Tokiya looks pretty evil in the OP(probably him) compared to this episode...

When normal glasses has a red-color reflection, definitely evil.

It is him, but i don't think anybody in this series can be called evil, even the Asura crying in s1 only try to save his burial doll.

Wow, that episode was super-rushed. I guess they just wanted to get the backstory bit out of the way fast and introduce the new character.

Episode two was excellent from a narrative perspective, and almost abysmal from a visual perspective. It seemed like the artists were phoning in the main characters, while the focus characters of the episode looked better (but still not the best seen in this series). Consistent art is not something that this show is going to be known for, and we already knew that, though...

I'm glad to see that the Koala's being controlled by a human, and his interactions with the Third Council President were interesting. I feel like they've [so far] fixed the pacing issues from the first season, actually starting to give us enough information at a more expected speed. Plus, the Misao/Tomoharu interactions are still awesome, and now gaining something with Tomoharu's fear of the end of season one and his, uh, flashback-related-feelings from episode one.

OMG was the art distracting from all of this good, though. 6/10.
