That is a shocking news. Even though he made mistakes, his contributions to the society were far much greater.

I would have wished that he would have enough time to do what Warren Zevon had done, to leave his fans with a final great product.

It's pretty late here in the UK so many will only hear about this in the morning, what a start to the day that'll be to them. Music stores will quickly be sold out of his music, many tears will be shed by millions and the newspapers and TV will be filled with nothing but Michael Jackson for weeks.
R.I.P.

R.I.P Michael Jackson, one of the people who actually made good music...well, compared to most of the stuff playing now. He also had great dancing skills.
MTV was actually playing his music videos, just to let all of you know. I don't know if that's still going on thhough.

I'm sorry, but that's just really messed up to say. Besides, he was found not guilty. Now I hope there aren't any pedobear posts...

Great dancing skills would be an understatement imo.

Music nowadays are all commercial crap, YEAH NICKLEBACK, SOUJIA BOY!!

Even Jay-Z admitted to doing it, "I dumbed down for my audience and double my dolla, they criticized me yet they all yell holla!"

Know why? the ppls nowadays don't know what good music is and enjoys being spoon-fed commercially made crap they label music.

It is one of the worst things, but he was not found guilty, so you cannot really claim this as a fact. A human loss, is a human loss, and being all "yay!11" about it, it is not really nice, especially when he was not sentenced.

People praise him, because his music was something that touched them, obviously. He was one of the greatest artists, and that is widely known i believe.

I do have to admit I'm not a huge fan myself but Jackson's influence in all modern popular music can't really be disputed. And even as his personal life has been a source of some quite heated debate his music and the way it was marketed truly made him a legend. I dare to say that Jackson shaped the popular music just as much if not more than Elvis or The Beatles. So this is really an end of an era.

Rest in peace Michael.

All of the sudden anyone who doesn't like MJ, turns into a fag? Its called there own opinion. Due to his death the balanced argument should not exist? Please don't say stupid things. However no one should be pleased of the death of someone, thats morally wrong.

RIP to the King of Pop. He earned that title.

I wasn't even born when he was churning out world superhits, so I can't really relate other than the trainwreck he was having in the 90s and 2000s.

To me the closest equivalent to Michael Jackson (when he was in his late-teens/20s, and still black) is Usher.

MJ Music kicked ass in my opinion. His music was good, his dance skills were good. I guess he was too good that he be became corupted with money... he change his face, dangled a baby off the balcony, and charged for molesting a child. Although I've had too many people in my life saying they hate Michael Jackson even though they never heard of his music.
He would have lived a better life and remembered better If he wasn't so corrupt.

Michael Jackson, corrupted by money? I guess these youngsters nowadays (damn makes me feel old), have no idea how he helped Vietnam, Africa and other countries. He did stuff long before Hollywood started adopting children.

His achievements in music and dancing is unrivaled, shame on those who don't appreciate his work.
