It's a great signature than you made here PreSage, the only part than is bothering me is that black area but I guess than it was part of the original picture...

I could have tried to edit the shadows but that would add on more to the filesize.
I encountered the same problem before with jerky cogs. If you look carefully at the sig below, you can see some jerks when it spins.

What I did was to create a static layer like this:

And placed it over the animation:

So that the jerky movements are blocked.

The shadow got cut off on the left.
But other than that, great job on getting the animation under 50 kb.

Ah yes, animators like to put themselves through, what I call, the "hair pulling syndrome".
Especially when everything is done, you realised the file size is too big.

WTH even in this thread talking of that--sama..

step that aside...

Now you're proving that you can be one of the animator god in here Sage-sama... hmmm as of now there are 5 gods that I saw... (Riker, Godlike, Endrance, KiNa, and PreSage)... so I'm still looking for others too..

Both banners and sigs of yours are really good... though I can't figured how you can retain some quality on it... maybe only gods like you can do that...

haha you can sit here but beware of the frogs, they're jumping right at your face and will kiss you

Thanks ganbaru. Oh, I think I used the burn tool a bit too much in that corner.

Oh! Thanks so much for the tip, Riker! Will try that next time when I work with wheel-type animations again. Would give you cookies but you have your rep disabled. D:

LOL. Then we animators have very little hair left.

...then we start to shrink the sig until we need microscopes to see them (and lose more hair).

Thanks! I'm glad they both turned out well enough.

I use PS CS4; it has an animation function built into the program. cost me an arm and a leg to get it but so worth it... - er, I actually got it for work and not just for making sigs. Haha.

LOL. Aww, poor Patchy-sam...er...what should I call you now then? Patchy-dono? P-dono...P-sano (for both sama and dono... )

Whoa, hold on there, I am in nowhere near the levels of the god animators...I totally don't belong in that list. I am a kouhai still fumbling around with making animated sigs.

I used the slice tool to preserve as much of the quality of the image as possible by saving everything but the animated parts in other image files (such as png or jpeg).

...if one of your frogs will turn into a hot bishie...I wouldn't mind kissing one...or two...or three.

@Haladflire65, @The Chaos, @CMHerrara, @Tjaard
Thanks all for your kind comments and cookies!

Sorry, no update this time. School is zapping me of my creativity right now. I wish sig-making was part of my curriculum.

Edit: Someone wishes you all a happy holidays. (and I blame this on Illu-chan )
Spoiler for Santa:

Ahh, so that's where P-sano came from ... haha quite used to the sama thingy so I think I'm getting used to it already

Haha near?, Yep you're not near since you're there already... see that hair of yours? lots of hairs are already in the floor of this thread since like Rika-sama said, you animators are tend to pull your hairs out, and only gods are doing those things... (hmmmm are the hairs of animators really few, maybe I'll stop the plan to do some )

Haha the frog will turn out to be a hot....

Spoiler for lol:

not a bishie

Update:

This sig didn't turn out as I had envisioned it in my head - feels a bit too busy.

I'm planning on putting this in SOTM for the Sketches theme. Sketches are so hard to find, and it's really hard to creat a background that fits in with the image...don't know if this works or not - thought I'd try just for fun. (Goodness, I am terrible at text...I cringe and shake at every attempt. )

Requests:

For Marlan35:

For thevil1:

Since I don't have time to make individual sigs for people here...I made a collective banner for all here at FC (including the lurkers )...

Happy Holidays and New Year's!

My New Year's resolution...is to prepare next year's resolution (because I never end up following with my plans).

Im biased (as you know) but I like the DTK sig better for Dec SOTM then the Sketch one. I just think the DTK flows better tho his face looks a bit too bright.

I suck at text too

Btw whos the guy in the Sketch sig?
