Those screenshots are for Umineko Tsubasa, not EP8.

Oh now I see what you're talking about. So is Siesta 556... for some reason?

I wonder if I should expect him to explain the XYZ rules in this episode?

Maybe we'll finally get a sprite for her! Seriously though, it sounds quite boring.

I'm actually more excited about Tsubasa than I am about Ep8. I haven't read many of those TIPS, and we finally get to see 556. That alone will make it worth playing.

Probably not, I don't think this story can be explained by a mere 3 coordinates.

I would still like to see him attempt to anyway and fail when Ange doesn't get it.

Your grandfather... your grandfather is very happy! I have such precious grandchildren; it makes me happy! Sooo happeeeeeee! So happy my tears can't stop! They can't stooooooop!!!

EDIT: Kinzo, Screenshot 9. He actually said.. 'urechii!' Man... if this was Battler portraying Kinzo this way... This is one scene I wouldn't put past Kinzo to be like. :3
Grandchildren solve the epitaph together, perhaps?

One of my ideas what EP8 could be like, was that Ange would reach the truth and write a final forgery (story of ep8) which she'd offer at Rokkenjima. Like she did in EP4 and then it would also have the explanation to her death in there. Well Ange herself said she's not much of a writer, so it's really just a random idea.

Ange does have a nice big image of herself on the EP8 cover though.

I'm also wondering what Kinzo is being so happy about. Well Kinzo is dead in the timeframe of the Rokkenjima incident, so it's some flashback probably, if they're not planning to have Kinzo running around in magic scenes. Ryukishi doesn't seem to do extra sprites for one character because of age difference too much, so I thought it's just about Kinzo seeing some of his grandchildren for the first time/in a long time... It depends on if Kinzo was nice sometimes.

Well now that the titles for each arc actually do make BATTLER'D That gives me two speculative thoughts.

BATTLER DIES

"BATTLERD" is the actual order we're supposed to read the arcs in.

Well it starts with little Beato and happy end with BattlerxBeatrice (if you don't care about the "tea with fellow monsters" -part).

Or maybe BATTLER'D is supposed to be a verb, like in Teen Girl Squad. All the villains are about to get BATTLER'D.

DO YOU BELIEVE IN MIRACLES?
Correct me if I'm wrong but neither Lion nor Will died in arc 7. They are attacked by an insane number of Bern kitty but she specifically tells them to let them alive.

She did? I thought the whole "knocking their pieces aside" was implying that they died. My Japanese is seriously bad though, so I might be wrong.

Good that they didn't die though.

Like dying in the meta-world ever stopped anyone but Erika.

Something liker his role is over but he's unable to die.
... actually I think it might be a reference to exactly that.

A True Villain can be threatening even after he's dead.

Seriously though. In Higurashi dying (or killing everyone else) supposedly turns you into a god.

One was not so much the act of dying but so much as dying as much as having supernatural powers from the get-go, the other was some psycho bitch being psycho. Death didn't really have anything to do with it, really.
