I like how the thread has devolved into a discussion of how the writers can further make the show a train wreck, awesome.

So Faldio'll shack up for a one-night-er with Alicia (whether she consents or not doesn't matter, it's a shoujo, she'll be back for more regardless), carve a notch on his bedroom wall, then move onto Marina. Alicia will be bloodied and depressed and pinning after her Super Faldio, and thus will go win the war single handedly, before coming back to follow Faldio around like a puppy.
At which point Marina would shoot him, or so I would hope and pray.

For the lolz

Faldio takes Alicia's first kiss turning her into bloody raging Valkyrie and only Welkins kiss can bring her back, but since Welkin is a pussy and a retard and Alicia is so GAR Valkyrie, so she kills every enemy singlehandedly instead and then pinches Welkins nose and kisses him saying "Anta baka?", then she feels a huge relief and falls into coma and Welkin masturbates over her comatose body and everyone starts clapping and saying "Congratulations!" while we see ending subtitles (in japanese and in babelfishy english) and huge split into half Faldio's head floating around without any reason...

After readin all the comments of this post i can say that im relieved because i thought i was the only one that didnt like the anime and tought it was crap, but it seems im not alone.

Its a shame because if they adapted the game story they would have a great anime.

I wonder if they are going to change the ending as well.

Maybe we'll see VC follow the path of Kanon.

This'll be the shit "2009" series and they'll do a decent adaptation in a few years time that'll blow our minds.

I can dream can't I? The only thing I can find salvageable from this anime is the hope of decent character figures.

Considering the nature of the game, I doubt there'll be a remake. Unless VC2 sells through the roof and they make a highly successful anime of it.

It is unlikely. Besides the sells of anime will probably be low, so no one will think about remake.

Heck Kimikiss game is way more popular in Japan and anime screwed it up (from gamers point of view) and had pretty much catastrophic sell rates and there are still no talks about it being remade so remake of VC is not very likely specially since as a game it is not even as popular as Kimikiss.

That is assuming that VC will follow Kimikiss path with horrible anime sales. There can be a miracle after all and VC can sell decent enough, but the way things are going it is not that likely.

Another chance is that VC2 game will sell over-the-top somehow... but we will see about that.

Regardless, bring on the anime figures. My Sega Alicia figure is awfully lonely at the moment.

Get the new huge uber-expensive Lady Selvaria and you have a good matchup.

I wish they'd redo this show. It would kickass then.

I'd rather have someone like Production I.G handle the series.

For a second I thought I hadn't seen anything they'd done, but then I spotted what they had saved for me, and I rejoiced.

I would not mind this one bit. How busy are they?

All Sega animes owes the fate that becomes a trash. It seems that it's impossible to avoid. Or better yet they should have made it like Shining Tears X Wind. If they did so, I would have forgiven the anime with laughing.

I don't know. For me it lacked the shock effect, and thats not because I played the game. And it did not feel as emotional as it was in the game. Pretty dull scene actually. The fact was sad and the character was nice and all that - but thats pretty much the only reason that could make you sad. Emotionally it lacked the depth game had.

wasted time and space on useless material this episode and for what? to cut short lsara's death moment.... F U writers.

lt's clear to me now seeing as they never touched upon lsara's dream we are not getting the same ending, hell that fool of a friend that welkin has probably won't die either.

Doubt it.

They are still following the principles in the game. The way they are doing it is questionable but so far all of the critical points have happened.

Ex. Gregor dies in the train, Isara is shot by random grunt, forest battle, etc.

Faldio is getting suspicious of Alicia so he's probably going to be disappearing for awhile to do some research which leads to him awakening Alicia.

With Welkin in his gloomy state he's wide open for Alicia to move in and make the shot.

So they'll be able to spend more time together.

One thing to note though, they got a report about a blue light on the northern front. I thought Selvaria went super when Damon decided on a full frontal battle against Maximimillian up in the north?

One thing to note though, Isara's last wish was to hear Rosie sing in the game.

the question is why would Faldio shoot Alicia?

He has no reason whatsoever in the anime.
