Please...never again.

Marvel is one of the only defenses I have left from the ridiculous anime craze that has spawned over the last ten years and made anime not that much fun to follow anymore.

"Henshin" means transform, basically

I liked Iron Man's sense of humor, Robert Downey Jr. was perfect for the role. After enjoying him in Sherlock Holmes I'm looking forward to Iron Man 2 as well.

Let's just hope that it doesn't fall into the crappy sequel sinkhole...

judging by the trailers. I highly HIGHLY doubt it will suck XD the ending could, but thats it. this movie will be #1 box office for two weeks im sure.

Kind of wish they have better villains though. Iron Man is an awesome hero, but all his villains are incredibly goofy.

This is pretty much post quote necromancy at it's worst, but really needed to get this out:

It'd be interesting to know then that Marvel has more history with Japanese Tokusatsu than you might imagine. In the early 70's Marvel gave certain licenses to Toei for them to produce some shows, including this one hilariously cheesy gem:

Yes, a Japanese version of Spiderman. With a giant robot. And yes, you can watch episodes of it on the official Marvel website.

(Notable trivia: This version of Spiderman was the inspiration for many toku of the day to include giant robot fights. In fact, the formula of fighting the monster small, then fighting them large was adapted from this show, a formula still used by Super Sentai and conversely Power Rangers today).

Marvel also co-produced several other shows with Toei back in the day, including the Super Sentai series Battle Fever J, and Stan Lee himself has quite alot of collaborations with the Japanese, including the recent Heroman anime, and the upcoming adaptations of Wolverine and... Iron Man by Madhouse.

So in fact, it's Marvel that can't leave Japan alone
