Hey guys, I just finished watching the bakemonogatari anime series and it was pretty damn good. I just had a few follow up questions, since the anime only covers a few arcs, and not the entire story:

1. Why is the story named Hitagi End? Does Hitagi die/break up, or is it just a "title" for the ending of the story? I remember this question being asked, but there was no real confirmation, so I'm wondering if there is now.

2. What happens to Nadeko? From what I've been reading, she turns into some sort of monster?

3. Please tell me Hitagi and Koyomi don't break up. Honestly, their relationship is one of the more real and touching ones I've read in a while (I almost teared up when watching that episode, while stuff like Clannad and Angel Beats did not affect me at all).

1. We don't know. Novel hasn't come out yet. But it is the last volume for the 2nd monogatari-series, thus I don't really think it complicatedly.

2. Nadeko turns into super yandere - basically God. In Otorimonogatari, Nadeko decided to kill Tore-sama --> Ararararagi --> Heart under blade in Hitagi End in sequence 6 month later, which is when Hitagi end takes its place.

3. They won't break up. Hanamonogatari, which deals with time line after Godeko event + graduation of couple + Basa-nesan going for world trip, proved that there were really nothing wrong with relationship between those two. However, Nadeko was not even mentioned in that novel, thus we know her end won't be good.

My guess of what will happen in their final battle is that Nadeko asks Hitagi to kill herself in accordance to their agreement for not killing Shinobu and Araragi during their initial battle. Hitagi finds some loophole and Nadeko expects it. Araragi tries one last time to talk her out of fighting but Nadeko has her mind set. Shinobu doesn't hesitate for a second and goes straight for the kill. Nadeko having powered up during the last four months is able to fight evenly with her. That's as far as I'm going to predict.

With this, I only can think in the dead of Nadeko, unless "something" arrives to stop the Deadmatch.

Otherwise, I also think that the only good ending for her would be a last-second mind-changing in Nadeko, so she can leave forever alone, but that's too much cuteness for this story D:

Nadeko is no imposter, she is a goddess. That is why praise from believers will increase her power and why she decided to spare Araragi and Shinbou since Hitagi wished for it.

If it's up to me I want it to be an epic battle between everyone and everyone else.

I'd like if somehow the First could be resurrected so we could see how he fought. And maybe him and Shinobu could fight together. It'd be epic. Or maybe a third season, so we can learn more about everyone.

Actually I think that's really possible that Oshino would be going to show up. If the battle is not equal for both sides, he would appear.

Unless, of course, Ougi appears to do "his/her things" and with that, we would know a little bit more about him/her.

Kurayami won't appear because, as Omimon says, Nadeko is a real Godess, but some kind of twisted logic would be enough to make him appear. For Nadeko's sake *~*
