Araragi didn't want Senjougahara to hurt him. It was because the pain lasted only about 5 min. That was why he could see it as trivial matter and approached her again. But that was also because he wasn't a short tempered person.

Araragi is a nice guy. He offers to help other people if he can. I realize that Senjougahara has good reasons to love Araragi. But I just don't think that it's fair to say that Senjougahara loved Araragi because he was the only one who insisted to save her.

You people forget that Senjougahara herself said that even if Araragi did not help her out, and she had witnessed him helping Hanekawa or Hachikuji, she would realise he was something special.

Episode 5 people... during the confession.

Code:
Araragi: Come on, didn't I say you didn't have to do anything big to pay me back?
Senjougahara:That was just an excuse.
Senjougahara:I thought I'd get you to confess to me.
Senjougahara:But don't worry. I don't really feel that indebted to you.
Senjougahara:After all, Araragi-kun, you'd rescue anyone.
Senjougahara:But even if you hadn't saved me, and I observed you save Hanekawa-san or someone instead,
Senjougahara:I think I'd still have felt you were something special.
Senjougahara:Oh well. I may be overexaggerating it,
Senjougahara:but to put it bluntly, I just enjoy talking to you.
Araragi:But we haven't even talked that much, have we?
Senjougahara:I guess.
Senjougahara:I want to talk with you more.

I didn't forget that. I actually watched that scene when I was typing. What I think I didn't agree with her reason was when she said that Araragi was the only one who reacted this way.

By the way, Oshino said to Kanbaru that "Even worst, it's your left hand" So why was left hand worst than right hand?

Several cultures have myths where the left hand is views as one with mystical powers or importance.

Some cultures say its powerful because it is the hand next to the heart

Others detail it as the hand that has an artery running directly from the heart to a specfic finger (pinky for japan/ ring for the west)

In my country, if you have stiff neck problem only a left handed person can heal it.

In other countries left handed people are seen as evil.

I don't think Kanbaru is all that intricate with her plans. She is just jealous and is trying multiple, simple, methods to get Arargi away from her dear Hitagi.

Have you forgotten that Arararagi (Shitsurei, kamimashita!) still retains some of the vampire's abilities.... like fast healing... seeing anything clearly long distances... and seeing clearly in the dark... basing with his reaction... i think he focused all energy to his seeing in the dark ability....

He has an overall better visual acuity than normal humans... how intense that sight must have been for him.

All the finest most subtle details burned into his mind.

Happy thoughts indeed.

Senjougahara knew what she was doing... I say it again.

That girl is a huge pervert.

Hmph.. didn't realize seeing in the dark was one of his abilities.

And that only fuels our jealousy towards Araragi.

To put more detail into that, the word "sinister" is derived from the word for "left" in Latin, which is the basis for many European languages. The left hand is traditionally associated with underhandedness, sneakiness, misfortune and malice.

By contrast, the word for "right" was "dexter" which led to the word dexterity and such. It's associated with skill, straightforwardness, fairness and auspiciousness.

I dont really find Kanbaru that interesting for some reason. I've enjoyed the interaction between Tsundere-chan and Hachikuji alot more it seems.

I really like Araragi's *story* of the events that happened that night. And I figured Tsundere-chan didn't beleive him but she played along with it. Even allowed him a a view thats easy on the eyes ^_^.

I hope we get to learn of Shinobi later in the series, she seems really adorable. Sulking for 2 days cause Meme ate one more donhut than she kekeke. Tho I suspect shes the vampire that gave Araragi the vampirism. I really like that hat/goggles too!

About the Monkies paw... um D....... paw

I initially wondered why the Monkies paw was attatched to her, but then thought nothing of it cause I thought I'd be ilreveant and different lore. Mainly because I remembered from The Simpons, Homer carring around that Monkies paw he barganed cheap and making 3 wishes with it.

anway, look forward to the next episode

Why do loli loving people feel Shinobu is adorable... ?

LOL !

I swear Nisin wrote that one especially to mock and fuck with you guys

Evil is evil.

You loli lovers will get eaten.

First you swoon over Hachikuji, (and she does like flesh)... all of a sudden Koyomi feeling her up is no longer an issue given her

1. Ghostly Nature
2. Ability to fight
3. Carnivorus tendency.

Suddenly Koyomi groping the loli is acceptable now ?

Now your all swooning over a blood sucking creature that is probably just waiting for a chance to devour Koyomi and Meme.

Has this show not taught you anything ?

Appearances will kill you !

I mean we all swear Senjougahara is a badass that makes Shikamaru Nara's mother look like a toddler.

But suppose Tsubasa is even more badass than her ?

Listen man... this nisin guy is too slippery.... you have been warned.

Man I ain't touching that one.

Anyways, I like how someone called Senjougahara a perv, I wouldn't go that far, but shes is definetly frank, and that's why she is such a breath air in the context of romantic comedy.

Probably the only flaw is that, Koyomi is totally upstaged by Senjougahara all the time, and Koyomi is hardly a bad character. He's a good straight man, not flaky, capable, fairly inteligent. Compared to Senjougahara, he's a little boring beyond the vampire hook but at least he is displaying none of the annoying tendincies of the Tenchi's and Keitaro Oe's of the world.

Really?

I find Senjougahara to be the boring one, and Koyomi to be the interesting one. Koyomi takes to the insults and banter well (for the audience's purposes, anyway). If Koyomi was replaced with a character who was any less submissive, it'd lower the entertainment value between Senjougahara x protagonist conversations.

Koyomi's reactions is what makes the dialogue of this show for me. He seems a bit dimwitted when girls are teasing him, and so when he takes light teasing seriously, his reactions seem genuinely serious. Though "seem" might be the wrong word here since they probably are genuine.

Koyomi is not being upstaged by Senjougahara.

He never is, was or will be.

Which boring man would chase after a woman who just pulled her box cutter and stapler from the inside of his jaw ?

Which boring male would chase after a female who just fired a piece of metal into the fleshy sensitive parts of his mouth. Just for good measure.

Remember this is a lady that would have taken his life to save her own skin,.

Despite his previously saving her from falling to her certain death.

Yet, irrespective of her ingratitude, he still ran after her to help her with her problem ?

A boring man does not have the balls to do that.

Senjou said it... He has high capacity

Which from the Eastern perspective means, he's more manly than he lets on.

Nope... Nisin is pulling the wool over your eyes with Senjougaharas chattyness.

Which i can tell you... chaty people and characters can be very distracting.

Please remember, women are by nature masters of verbal sparing, torture and abuse.

Men are usually not as a adept at dishing out, nor taking lightly, the verbal teasing of women.

Let a girl tease you about the length and thickness of your penis... and you will react.

Most often in an immature manner, with nary a word to respond.

Let a girl tease you about being a virgin (even if your not, but especially if you are)... and you will react.

Most often in an immature manner, with nary a word to respond in kind.

In my country, men who can dish out insults as well as a woman are not praised.

We are raised to take their insults like water off a ducks back.

Where we get back at them, is in our smooth and mature actions.

Ergo the phrase Deeds, not words would aptly apply here

Especially to Koyomi.
