Yep. :P Green is actually... wow, it's more common than pink. Surprised yellow doesn't come up as often, despite the fact Fate is a popular character. Also wonder if colors are related to personality somewhat.

Page claim for colors of magic and Miura in general?

Doubtful they relate to personality. Both Subaru and Chrono have blue, but their personalities couldn't be more different.

I do believe the novel mentioned genetics, though, so it's kinda like hair and eye color I guess.

Probably because of Fate's exclusivity in practically everythiong(at least according to the theory saying Sette got horribly shafted because 7 is the lucky number of Nana Mizuki or something like that xDU).

It wouldn't surprise me if Vivid's oujou-sama has yellow magic.

Touma might be the first one, but I don't have any coloured images of his magic so far. Purely basing this on his Force NEXT character sheet, what with the black tattoos and stuff.

Cheers.

There is one confirmed use of "black" magic, and that's the out-of-control Automatic Defense Program for the Book of Darkness--while the aura itself glows purple, you can see that the lines in the magic circles are black in color. As opposed to Precia and Lutecia's magic color, which have purple-whiteish lines in their magic circles.

Oh, guess there is Lutecia, forgot her, so Red is officially the least common of the primary colors, barring perhaps indigo. Though there are also varying shades of each color, so if there is a personality difference, could be related to that. It just being genetic seems less exciting. :P

Since this is a biological thing, from a cultural perspective it wouldn't be all that weird for it to be accepted as the norm.
Well at least this will help put to bed why the TSAB allows child soldiers into they're ranks and no they are not the total EEEEVVVVIIIILLLL organization most people theorize...

Cut that "child soldier" crap please? Judging by drinking laws most of first world countries use child soldiers...

Nanoha is clearly an immensely odd example, and it's one she chose to do. Really, it'd be either that, allow her to go off and do her own thing without supervision (a bad, bad idea), or ground her, even though she's one of the most powerful mages they've seen even at a young age. True, Erio and Caro are also really young when they went into the army, but it's more of a choice thing, and similar to Nanoha in Caro's case (too powerful to be left alone, and also kind of unfair to ground her if she's willing to work with you).

Fate and Hayate too...Chrono...

You can keep them from getting into too much trouble by taking away their devices, if they really cared about enlisting children in the army.

Chrono is more an example of hard work though, which means he made the choice himself.

None of them were forced into joining the TSAB. At least I don't think Fate and Hayate were. But even of-age soldiers are not forced into joining the TSAB. Everyone has their choice. But they're still children...

Well, the forcing argument mainly started because of the novels. Caro didn't really help.

But I think Vivid pretty much crushed the debate.

Fate was also a criminal who had already been a fighter for so long, and chose to go into being an agent to make up for her crimes. Same goes for Hayate. None of them were forced into joining the TSAB, they were given a choice. As Lutecia shows, you don't need to join up.

I was under the impression that Caro wasn't forced to join, but that the officials were saying the only use they'd have for her would be as a soldier. As far as I can remember, Caro chose to join the TSAB after Fate adopted her.

"Still Children" doesn't really cut it as a valid reason when throughout history you have examples of various cultures who place adulthood at a very young age - certain African cultures have 13-year olds as "adults" for instance, and even throughout Europe and America up till the Industrial Revolution the age where one worked and became inducted into the adult world was seven years old.

A culture like Midchilda, which does not have the same values on what constitutes the limits of "childhood" as Earth (and as revealed actually have a biological reason to do so) would not view their children as "just children", but as "young adults", which seems to be in line with what we see in ViviD.

That said, many of the "children" we see in the Nanohaverse joined the TSAB out of their own volition, rather than coerced.
