Anime pieces for the piano.

So, I'd like some suggestions of anime piano pieces to play, I've heard alot but always forget afterwards.

Write the name of the song and/or an episode + at what time and I'll look it up.

Maybe I'll record it and let yall hear some time as well!

/Ryuuk

Nodame Cantabile - take your pick. But if you mean unique to the anime, the OP Allegro Cantabile is awesome.
Piano no Mori - movie about a pianist.
Aoi Hana OP - Kuki Kodan. Brilliant.
Elfen Lied OP - Lilium. Gorgeous.
Shingetsutan Tsukihime's soundtracks (known in the West as Lunar Legend Tsukihime) have several brilliant piano pieces in them. The OP Sacred Moon and a piece called Wounded are a place to start.
Samurai Champloo - 624 Part 1, 624 Part 2, Mystline, ED Song of the Four Seasons. Bit more hip-hip/exotic but very good.
FLCL OST 1 Track 12 - Pain. That is a good one.
Trinity Blood ED - Broken Wings. Divine.
Welcome to the NHK ED1 - Odoru Akachan Ningen. Zany, freaky yet brilliant
Spice and Wolf ED S1 - Seven Shooting Stars
Haibane Renmei OP - Free Bird
Gankutsuou OP

Hope that helps.

This is actually by an Animesuki member named Theowne, I'm actually surprised he hasn't posted in here yet. Regardless if you want some anime piano pieces you should check out his website at omohide.com, he has sheet music for the pieces as well.

not exactlly anime, but not far from it i guess.

Piano pieces from Final Fantasy - Advent Children. there's an album out there where you can find 13 versions of the main tracks in piano. I perssonally sugest "Tifas Theme", "Aeris Theme", "Fighting", and "Main Theme". I've transposed tifa's and aeris to guitar (of course omitting some notes that arent possible to play due to the obvious differences in instruments ). hope you like them as much as I do

Piano version of Shihouka from Juuni Kokuki, not played in the anime itself but on the Piano Memories album. Then the complete Encore album by Joe Hisaishi.

That's me!

IMO the greatest piano piece ever used in an anime. It adapts the song in such a skilled way that immediately listening to it, you don't think "ah this is a piano adaptation", instead it's just a wonderful piano piece on its own.

Second greatest piano piece? I'd say "Treasure Every Moment" from Kare Kano. A lot of piano pieces in anime tend to sound the same, this one is a breath of fresh air. Here's a (somewhat slower than I prefer) rendition:
