A shame really. Games with such an all star cast of voices such as this really deserve to have the original track included I think :/
One cool story note so far: Spoiler for story and game spoilers for Tokugawa:

On another note SB3 first week outdid the LTD of SB2. 01. / 00. [PS3] Sengoku Basara 3 (Capcom) - 242.698 / NEW 05. / 00. [WII] Sengoku Basara 3 (Capcom) - 49.821 / NEW Ps3 version dominated.. feature wise they pretty much the same... I wouldn't be surprised if SB4 uses the Ps3 for the lead platform and the wii version is just an modified SB3. |

That's too bad. Overall it has been a really fun game so far though.
So far I've finished the first route on normal mode with Tokugawa and Masamune. Pretty standard so far, and I've found that overall Masamune's main route is more difficult than Ieyasu's. Spoiler for Date Masamune content spoilers:
This is a good thing, however. Because overall normal mode has become entirely too easy. Is it safe to try hard mode from the beginning you think?

Rather than inferior, I think it's most appropriate to think that it's a joke version of the Japanese version....until now, I can't manage to understand the reasons why they've changed the name of the Japanese General into...that
So I've heard that this game will be coming to US...if the game is using the japanese name for the characters, I really don't have any problem with it ;( (though there's some financial problems too o.o; oh well D: )

Have been playing together with my friend (split screen co-op ftw!) for the last few days, and I'm having a blast. This one is a much more improved version compare to the previous title (though maybe because of co-op mode, it become much more fun
). Each character has their own unique combo system, like with Ieyasu, each of his hit can be charged by holding square button briefly and releasing, giving much more damage and hit stun to the enemies, or one of his special move can be charged while you are using other move, and then you can release it to unleash a devastating punch. Because of this I have to change the default button layout for easier combo . And that's just one example. Definitely worth the purchase. I just don't know will they release any DLC, since I bought the Asia version.

Would you guys that are playing the Japanese version say that it's playable for someone who doesn't understand that much Japanese? Thinking of ordering the game for my birthday, because i don't want the experience to be destroyed by the dub in the US and Europe release.
Plus it'll be my first time playing the franchise.

I'd say its pretty dang playable, my non-speaking friends have been enjoying it pretty well (though I've been translating many of the cut scenes for them ^_^;
![]() Doesn't effect the gameplay in any way however, though the menus are all in stylized Japanese, which sometimes even causes me a little trouble as I have to strain to read a few of them. I'd say go for it! It's totally worth it for the Japanese VA work unless you don't mind missing them for the domestic release.

.I think a regular anime watcher can quite understand the story through dialogue and cutscene without so much effort.

The Japanese developers thought American's wouldn't be interested in something based on Japanese history so they changed it to the fantasy setting Devil Kings takes place in. This is odd, considering this is the same company that released Onimusha in the west without such changes.

QUESTION.
I'm using Maeda Keiji right now fighting against Masamune in his stage. I have to race him to the end, I know I don't have to win him but I really want to. How do I do that? Is there some kind of short cut I can take? I know pressing triangle would boost my horse forward for a bit, which is what I did and almost won, but there must be an easier way right?

Sorry for double posting, but I'm stuck AGAIN.
I'm using Oichi, and I'm up to her last boss in her green route Spoiler for spoilers last boss:
I know that the more areas I capture the less areas he can drain, and hence the less times he would resurrect. However I only manage to capture and maintain 4 places in time before I fight him. Any tips? He's really freaking strong, I'm level 56 and I keep losing. I always get to his last freaking life and he is really close to dying but he eventually kicks my ass. Any ideas people? Any tips that I can use? Any skills items or comboes that I can use for Oichi that I'm not aware of? Please help. I equipped her with the attack up, basara up, defense up, life up and extra damage when I'm red health with a 536 damage weapon.
