I don't think I've ever had this happen to me before, but I can't seem to play a mkv file in my MPC Homecinema (really quite strange to me). I already have CCCP since I have MPC.

The problem is that it only plays the sound, no video.

I tried it on my backup - VLC (and trust me, I only use that when I'm really desperate) but it lags

...

Any suggestions or ideas on how to fix this :P?

Do you have the 2009-09-09 CCCP? If not upgrade.

Go to CCCP settings, 2nd page, do a reset settings and re-register filters.

Are you using the MPC-HC that is included in CCCP?
