Problems with cecurity center (PC/ Windows)

I don't know why, but since 2 days ago, every time I turn on my computer, my Cecurity center appears unactivated, I activate the center and set it as "Automatic", but next time I turn on my computer, it appears unactivated again. (along with the auto update and the Windows defender, they also appear unactivated every time I turn on my PC)

Any help will be much apreciated, thanks.

Well, logically speaking the only party that would rather see such features turned off would be a virus.

I'm not saying you have a virus, but I'd really recommend you scan your PC for one.

I just scanned it twice and I couldn't find anything exept that aparently my Windows defender is not asepting updates anymore, after cheking it it says that it has an "error", don't know if this could be related. But no, no virus found.

Sounds like you have some type of malware.

Boot your computer in Safe Mode with Networking and go to http://housecall.trendmicro.com and run the virus scan.

If it's still acting up on you, grab HijackThis (also from Trend Micro) and post the log it generates.

I suggest getting HijackThis and run it. Then post the log here to see if anything shows up abnormal which can indicate malware installation.

After you clean your computer, you should create a limited or power user account to prevent malware from installation. Most of the malware installation is caused by using an administrator account, which allows the malware to install easily. With a limited or power user account, the malware won't be able to install, due to a lack of administrative privileges (a reason why UAC should never be turned off).

Thanks, I'll do it and I'll see the results.
