A new manga and it feels a bit refreshing in terms of light comedy. The main character looks good and i think you guys should try it. A little summary:

Quote:
As a punishment for punching a famous Calligrapher, young handsome Calligrapher Handa Seishu is exiled on a small island. As someone who has never lived outside of a city, Handa has to adapt to his new wacky neighbors, like people traveling on a tractor, unwanted visitors who never
use the front door, annoying kids using his home as a
playground, etc. Can this city guy handle all the crazy hardships? Find out in this wacky island comedy full of innocence and laughter!!!

I'm so far really enjoying it for a first chapter.

Title sounds like Barack Obama. Sort of. o_o

I like it. The little girl is the type of sister I wanted but never had.
Also reminds me of Yotsuba.

Up to the third chapter. That shy little girl was hilarious, freaks out no matter what hahaha. Got to feel sorry for the Vice Principal and I love how Handa just snaps/gets bewildered at everyone. Very funny series here.

So I stumbled across this little gem earlier on and god what a littel gem it is.

Def got a great slice of life feel to it, does remind me of Yotsuba. Not as great but brilliant in it's own way I would say.

Handa is a greta MC, don't enough of his kind. It's great seeing him trying ti fit into the Island and the lifestyle.

Naru and Hina are just adorable, especially Hina, the way she freaks out at everything is just so cute.

Altho the most amusing character is the Vice Principal, even tho he's been in 2 chapters he was damn funny in both

I can only hope we see more from this series in the future as it seems scans have stopped for now.

Fishing chapter was hilarious!

They announced a new anime; Hope that means more popularity for the series.

I also stumbled across this a year ago or so and enjoyed it quite a bit. It is kinda like Yotsuba, but the MC is a young adult male who is confronted with the bits and pieces of a traditional way of life and thinking in a small, rural part of Japan. At least that is how it starts out....

Update available ... focusing mostly on the island inhabitants again instead of the MC, but decent enough.

Am wondering how much the upcoming anime will cover chapters wise....

Interested in the anime so I found this online.

It's a fun series. Though I seriously can not hear OnoD as the MC....
