Pretty nice, though I like the electronic stuff the most. Not the best OST there is, though.

The first volume is ok, a decent mix of techno and bgm tracks. Despite being in just about every battle or drama scene track 19 'Taidou kara no Chouyaku' on disc 1 is a bit of a favourite. Quadra's 'Get it by your hands' is the best over all track on the cds I think. The second volume should feature the better bgm tracks from the second half the series.

My favorite is from Disc 1, 'Prophecy'. 'A Neverending Misunderstanding' from Disc 2 is also goood.

I can't wait for the 2nd OST though, that will probably have my favorite music from the series.

I haven't heard the 2nd soundtrack, but on the first soundtrack I like "Get it by your Hands" (I was listening to that 5 times in a row at one point of time), and STORYWRITER... and my two most favourite instrumental tracks are "Shinjitsu" and "Eureka". Really beautiful. They stand out above the rest for me... so much so that the tune's kind of infiltrated all my cells and when I look at the passing clouds sometimes the feeling and tune just goes through my head and I only realise it's Shinjitsu after some time.
Kind of feels a little Ghibli-ish.

I have to say the second OST is nothing short of awesome. The stand out tracks for me are Memory Warehouse, Time-lines, Ninety Three and I've got it.

Also everyone should be pleased to know it includes the awesome insert song Niji (Rainbow) by Denki Groove used in the last episode. All 10 minutes of it. I simply adore this track - it seems to sum up the entire optimistic vibe of the series.

CD 2 consists mainly of remixes and little fragments of music used throughout the series. They even include the daft metal track (M15) the technicians were rocking out to in Ep.30.

Buy it, buy it now!

Some trivia - the wonderful Niji is not a new song, in fact it's quite old (mid-90s) and was a bit of a anthem in Japan at the time. Denki Groove have been around for a while and Niji appears to be their most endearing songs. As musical styles are pretty important to E7 I suspect the choice of this 'classic' techno anthem was deliberate...

First OST came with my Eureka SeveN V.1 Box, along with the special edition of the Manga and a shirt (which I will never use, btw:P).

I find all the Eureka SeveN music to be just awesome. That might be just me, but what the hell. Still, songs like Storywriter, Second Summer of Love, Final Wish, Kioku no Naka no Umi, Niji and Tooi Kioku are always on my playlist, along with all the openings. Eureka SeveN rocks. Ditto.
