the appearance of tengu is killing this arc.... I prefer if Shirasagi's team compete with Emily's team fairly.... that geass eyes from Emily is also something that shouldn't appear in this manga....

more likely that he cut around his eyes and wrapped them up to make it look like he poked out his actual eyes. The would likely prevent her from even trying to use her eyes figuring that it was useless if he didn't even have eyes.

What other measure does Rainbow Dawn work aside from eye-contact? ( technically anyway, since at a close distance, closing the eyes doesn't work )

Voice commands.

Tomu clearly has his eardrums stabbed, and used the blood from it to make it look like he poked his eye out, when he actually prevented it by not letting himself hear about it.

cyberdemon's idea works as well... but it'd be kinda lame if that was the length he went towards defeating Dawn after his monologue about what his friends had sacrificed to get him there.

Kinda stupid though, now you got a blind man VS an armed, trained civilian...Psychological warfare incoming? Also it would be cool if he actually did gouge out his eyes, and just get a surgery with the money he wins, but the shock would have left him incapacitated for a long time, so I doubt he went ahead and did that.

The Manga has ended though there is quite a bit of story left. There are only Raws available unto volume 15 or 16 and the manga ends at 19. The ending is pretty open.

Looks like the stakes are getting higher with every gamble, really looking forward to the next match. As for Abidani, I assume he took a hit from the chair and experienced a few minutes of death before becoming the insane goblin we all know and love.
