The real strength of the franchise are DVD / BD sales. That being the case, I'm willing to bet this new Code Geass Gaiden project will be released on DVD and won't be something that we'll be able to watch on a regular weekly basis. Which is probably for the best, as far as I'm concerned.

This is why Sunrise should have kept the original Thursday late night schedule for Code Geass R2. This way, the second season could have retained its original format picking up where Stage 25 had left off instead of that stupid one year time skip. Had Sunrise allowed the late night format of Code Geass to continue, the storyline might have been quite different from the version that was shown on TV.

Up until Zero Requiem, at least, which is the main point of contention in the series, so we'd still have a fandom that can't stop raging. Wouldn't have changed much in my opinion.

I meant, mostly a cameo appearance. But i still can;t rule out, a direct involvement of the main charas that stayed until the end of the original, till i see what it is about. But my first choice, is the cameo appearance too. So i think we kind of found a common line, lol.

Actually it's considered a Downer Ending by many. Only a handful of characters deserved the happy ending, including Nunnally, Kallen, Kaguya, Milly, and Tianzi. Much of the rest were either traitors or just had too much innocent blood on their hands.

Well, the official stance is that he and Suzaku wanted to punish (and thus forgive) each other, that Lelouch's "pride" demanded his death and that living on wouldn't have felt right to him. You can of course have your own interpretation of that, but him having been suicidal is not a fact... at all.

Okay, refresh my memory people, I thought Kaguya was the head of the EU. So if she wasn't, then who was? And what was that stuff with her being the head speaker at the meeting in Turn 22? (and that whole thing in Turn 17)

No, Kaguya was the head of the UFN, the alliance which consists of the EU, China and its various now independent territories, and Japan. She is also the spokeswoman for Japan, incidentally, just serving a dual role.

The EU head was never revealed, hence my joke.

Is anything I said untrue? Most of the people in this fandom accept Zero Requiem as a selfless act of martyrdom that made the world a magically peaceful place to live. (Note: 'most' referring to a large number of individuals, ie not necessarily yourself, unless you see yourself that way.) Yes in fact, this fandom on the whole is largely dense.
