Well, I think the siestas represent the caliber of ammunition, not exactly the guns themselves (if we were to focalise on their name, that is).

But they also strangled Krauss ands Natsuhi, and guns don't do that. If the Siestas only represent the guns (which I find highly probable if we go by their names), I'm stuck as to what I should think of the strangle scene in EP3.

Well actually.... I've seen in some movies people using rifles to suffocate people while grappling them from behind... though I don't know if it has any importance...

Well, it's possible to choke people with guns, but there were obvious signs of Krauss and Natsuhi being strangled by a thin object according to the Tips section.

I wonder if Seista 556's death acctually has any bearing on the story at all really.

I mean why would Ryukishi go to the trouble of mentioning her in the first place?

Or better: why would he go to the trouble of drawing her?

Speaking of Siesta 556, does anybody know anything about Arigatou for 556? The TIP that came out with EP5 I believe. D:

I'd really like to know more about her and perhaps see if there's a hint or clue in that TIP.

Siesta 556 might just be a huge red herring. Or maybe she's the key to understanding who the culprit is.

Also, I thought the the Arigatou fir 556 wasn't translated yet.

I don't think it is, but it doesn't mean that somebody can't summarize what happened. I've wanted to read it since it came out. ^^;

Siesta 556 may just be for fan-service? It maybe for just another explanation of a gun, or whatever 556 means.

From the TIPS, I think 556 for Guard and Recon? Anyways, their numbers must mean something.

Also, I remember Kyrie saying she sees this "Golden Thread" when phoning Battler in EP4. So this golden thread is a speeding golden bullet?

Considering the possible culprit, Eva, in EP3, the thin thread object would have been a gun, string, or even wires.

Quite odd how we can interpret all these deaths.

I figured Kyrie was held at gunpoint or something, and forced to say some BS to Battler.

I believe it said that 556 was also the bugler of the 4.

And 556 is for a calibur of ammuniton. Just like all the Siesta's names are.

Well... I think 556 main purpose was to let the more attentive readers to find the connection between Maria's ceramic rabbits and the siestas.

Ryukishi likes readers that think and that actively try to solve the mysteries, you can find hints of that throughout all of his stories and in his interviews.

Things like the TIPS of 556 are meat to give a reward to that kind of readers.

Though... was it really a need to draw the siesta? He could have just left the broken body.

That's not like Kyrie at all, so I refuse to believe she would do that, especially just after having that lovely character development scene with Battler.

Jan-Poo's right though, we all know Ryukishi doesn't like to draw when he doesn't need to, I mean, it's a miracle that Kumasawa's son and the other characters Ange visited even had art! However, I can't shake the feeling that Siesta 556 holds something like a hint...why go through the trouble of drawing her? Why would we need to see how she looks?

Its always made me kinda mad that Maria only got revenge on Rosa over Sakutarou. Does Maria ever mention the rabbit Rosa destroys in the vn as she is killing Rosa? Maria never really acknowledged that sin after Sakutarou was destroyed.

Maybe there will be a flashback of Rosa doing something to atone for that sin. Maybe buying a new rabbit, but once maria got it she didn't acknowledge it as part of the rabbits band. So even though she accepted it as an apology, it didn't bring the rabbit back to life.

Spoiler for rambling what if kinda crap:

Spoiler for 00's tip, probably doesn't need a spoiler tag:

Spoiler for qouted tips from the siestas:

Nanjo could destroy all theories by claiming someone is dead while it isn't.
She is the best friend of beatrice
Nanjo is the best friend of Kinzo
Gaap and Beatrice got the same hair color, so does Kinzo and Nanjo.
There are a lot of small hints like this^^

Oh and you forgot to say that Gohda is represented by the 4th Game Goat (The one who fights Krauss )
true... But...
Kinzo is represented by Battler right? so... Gaap's vessel must be the killer's best friend then?
Kinzo and Nanjo are old. They are bound to have white hair
Spoiler for chiru:

Then how could we explain that scene at all?

we never got to meet young nanjo, for all that we know he was like kanon; tho I think gaap represents kanon, since he is the one that loves dissapearing the most and the only Episode in which he dies in the first twilight is the one in which everything goes wrong.
