When is the patch happening? Xin and Sona are ones I own but haven't used in a long while due to issues you mentioned. And is Zyra in this patch or one a bit later? Says mid-July but that's a bit vague.

I'm expecting it to be this Wednesday, as with most patches, since it will be past mid-July already and a good day to patch If we get a Zyra spotlight on Tuesday, we'll definitely get the patch the following day.

This is easily the most fun, thrilling game I've ever had as a support. Don't think I'll get that many assists again any time soon. What was so amusing was we only 1 had nexus turret left, while the other team had taken 3 baron kills yet simply couldn't finish us. Number of times I saved Tryn or Udyr - lost count very quickly.

I can't really comment on the other champions but Zyra looks fun and the cooldown reduction on Sona is just wtf.

Well, they shorten her abilities' passive duration, too, so I guess it's a fair trade off.

I haven't seen a Sona in ages. I see Soraka and Lulu but not Sona. Sona's ulti damage delayed application being able to be negated by a good number of champs was one of the main reasons that got changed. And yeah, lower GCDs but less time for lingering aura switch, so there was a trade-off.

Yeah, it's not like you'll be under triple aura like the old days...I really prefer Lulu to Sona though, she just has more of an impact when you see a huge buff Nocturne chasing you down with a double slow and fear.

Haven't played Sona (or LoL) much lately but it's so nice to harass someone out of lane. Before her nerf it was much easier but it's still possible.

Not really worth it these days...while she still boasts good damage and range for kiting with Q, power chord is far more useful as a carry shutdown or for slowing down runners. Her role just shifted more to supporting your lane partner than harassing your opponents (and with all the dash champs that run around...).

Out of interest, anyone ever tried all mid lane? Some randoms tried it in a bot match tonight. It was actually rather effective.

Out of interest, anyone ever tried all mid lane? Some randoms tried it in a bot match tonight. It was actually rather effective.

I guess counter with 4 mid, 1 solo. With tower you should be able to buy enough time for the solo lane to level and farm so he can wreck the opponent team. If the opponents start to send one to the solo lane you take another solo lane etc until it results into the same lanse and roles. The current meta exists for a reason.

Pantheon, Nocturne, TF, Ziggs and Shen, all 5 with TP. GAME ON! It's actually very fun to play (although it's only done in bot games and custom ARAMs (all random/all mid). The first TF is usually the most defining one. Golden rule of the game, never back down unless you're oom with <10% HP

I always wanted to play with a team that had transportation throughout the majority of the map. That would be exceptionally hard to gank someone

Dafuuuuq is that W? A bust of 650 MS or something? Looks like a free dash for landing a hate spike...nice range upgrade on that one btw, unfortunately the spotlight doesn't mention damage types; if it's still all magic, she will be needing Mpen badly, especially for her ult.

I kinda like her rework with all that speed boost. Look like Hecarim will have a fun time racing against Eve now.

Mixed AD/AP damage on PBE but i think that she's better AD type than AP , with the short CD + all her buff , Trinity works like a charm + give her Life Steal and stacking item like Wits. Maybe Gunblade will work with her.
I'll try offtank type.

Offtank Eve is the most powerful one you can build. Boots/TriForce/Sunfire cape/Shurelia's/Gunblade/Abyssal should still work pretty well with her. As Phreak likes to say, tons of damage :P
