The route image itself is definitely made by a person who have read the manga, that's why the event described there might be puzzling for anime-only fans. Blue arrow=夫妻ルート -> Route taken by the "husband and wife" (Read: Saeko and Takashi.)
Green Arrow=その他のルート　-> Route taken by the others (Saya, etc)

In the order of blue arrow from the place they are seperated from the group:

例の店 -> Convenience store
濡れ鼠広場　-> Plaza where Saeko got soaked with water. The one with the fountain.
初夜会場　-> ... Seriously lol but "the place of 'first night'". It is supposed to be the shrine where Saeko and Takashi spend the night. Do math, the people that is still oblivious at this point.

Anyway the literal translation was a joke, especially on the husband-wife/couple part and their so-called "First Night"

I see now that Saya's house is not just around the corner. It's a done deal they really needed the truck and pretty much Takashi and Saeko have a longer route to travel and pretty much has been shorten in the anime version if we base it on the locations.
