Well, New Vegas uses the same engine as Fallout III, so there is bound to be similarities present. But, in the end, as so long as the main game is at least 15-20 hours and there is at least 30-40 hours of side-quests (etc), then I will not care if New Vegas looks like an expansion of Fallout III...of course, that's just me...

What I see from the trailer.... spam bots will be annoying the hell out of me... again. But at least the Enclave have the right idea about getting rid of mutation and cool power armor... Could care less about their American!wuff though. |

I think I may just have to go play this again. Well, at least this team has a lot of the people from FO1/2. Hopefully the brought back the writer. |

I got bored with the gore in FO3, not even half way through and i was like "ok this is getting boring"
I hope they remake the energy guns to do the awesome deaths they used to do where it vaporizes their skin off and their bones fall to the ground.

I found it rather jarring when I'd kill someone with a critical hit to the eyes using the .223 pistol in FO1/2... and a chunk of their torso blew out.
Don't be like NMA posters, guys. FO1 is FO1, FO2 is FO2, FO3 is FO3 and FONV is FONV. There's no point in crying that it's not 256 colors and isometric view anymore.

Hell, burst mode in Fallout I and II will never be forgotten. I love when my comp hangs for a second and loads, you know something good will happen, ether critical heat, someone will drop dead or the guy will lose half of torso and a head =)
I'm looking forward to Fallout New Vegas. I must admit that F3 was not that bad. It was an enjoyable experience, and I see people playing it today with full force thanks to all the mods around, but with FNV I'm expecting much more stuff that will give oldie feel and hence I'll possibly enjoy even more.

Fallout is fine. Fallout 3 should really be Fallout 2. Fallout 2 should be an un-numbered sequel, as it's more of its own thing, and feels less like an FO1 sequel than FO3 does. While FONV already feels significantly like an FO2 sequel. (Yes I quoted my own post, shut up. )

I haven't kept up with FONV after playing through FO3 till my save file corrupted. Is Bethesda going to reuse west coast lore again or have they made something new for a change? They going to mix anything in from Van Buren, or all those goodies still shelved? If it feels like I'm trudging around some more barren version of New Reno I'll be double pissed : /.
