Anything remotely to do with Yokai gets my attention . I really liked Volume 4 Cover reminded me of Bonten from Amatsuki . Also hope the focus is on supernatural rather than ecchi/harem . I am really look forward to this ^^

Thats great news, glad to hear that . I was a bit apprehensive due to similarity with Wagaya Oinari . Wagaya was a good concept but somehow lost its way ...

But now entertainment quotient is guaranteed thanks to Chiaki .

Love how the poster didn't put Umineko on the credit list of the director. Anyways don't think this series will be any worse than how that series turn out or her inferior work on Nodame compared to Kenichi Kasai who did a much better job in the first season of that series.

It's not that I'm ignoring her work on Umineko, but I prefer to list highlights of a person's career instead of low points (I'm not a big fan of Kon's work on Higurashi or Nodame, BTW, but those shows are relatively popular regardless).

Similarly, with Kenichi Kasai, I'd list Major, Honey & Clover, and Nodame while leaving out Kimikiss.

Sphere will be performing the OP, which, I admit, piques my interest a little bit.

One of the first stations to show Otome Youkai Zakuro will be TVK, on the 4th of October. Source.

Technically, the only anime block airing on this day would be Anime no Chikara... Does this mean the 4th project should be considered dead? Obviously it can't be this one since this is a manga adaptation. I'm getting off-topic though, the series itself seems promising, what with the great cast and appealing character design. The recent announcement of Sphere doing the OP was just icing on the cake.

Not to say they can't make more if it proves successful, but AnC this is not.

Well, that was the initial run to test the waters (Fuji's NOISE slot was also discontinued after an initial run of three series). They would've continued the block if it were successful.

Looks like interesting, but J.C. Staff...
(We'll see another JC Staff characters in this show?
Toradora, Shana, Ookami-san, etc.)

Tworble: Zakuro is a girl.

I know they call her a girl in the description but I can't find much written up about this series.

I think this is a new trailer, still not sure if I want to see this one. On the one hand, it does have some pretty looking art and spirits in it, on the other hand I really prefer plot over eye candy these days, does anyone know more about the story than the blurb in the first post?
