(Actually, I think it would be cool if they had an orca-character who didn't want to eat Ika-chan... not that she'd be in a hurry to believe it, though.)

If you can watch this show without smiling at least, you have a heart of stone. It's just pure fun and enjoyment, three times every episode. All the characters are likable, Ika-chan is incredibly kawaii, and the situation comedy is brilliant. And they've yet to repeat themselves in three episodes, which is pretty good stuff.

Incidentally, this spring I took a solo walk here at night, and I can tell you it wouldn't have taken much to make me freak out like Gorou - creepy, creepy place...

This show gets funnier and funnier by each episode. Haven't laughed this much watching anime since Muteki Kanban Musume.

The whole delusion with the Killer Whales out to eat her reminds me of Seto no Hanayome when the Fish-people were FREAKING OUT after seeing a kitten....

The anime industry is dieing! No new ideas! Lets just turn everything into moe! There, a sqid! Now its moe! And it can talk japanese! Makes no sense at all! And the cast is total stereotypes! And the jokes are lame! And there is no plot! No more slice of life please! I also think... i... i... can't keep my straight face.

you gotta love the random comedy series that are airing these days, even if they have no plot, even you fell in love with it

I'd take this cute funny show over the other ecchi shows this season. This is one of the few shows I won't be embarrassed to watch with my family.

I still feel sorry for Ika-chan through. Trying to take over the world is bad (no, kid don't do that...) but being played around with for her naiveness is just cruel sometime... For example, swing a fishing rod to get her bite on is a real attempt to humiliate. It's probably not the first time also

Those moments make her looks much cuter through, i admit xD

Maybe because i need some heartwarming moment, something to show that she's respected as a human (or squid human) rather than a pet. And i need it soon. Otherwise it will be like watching a cute rabbit inside a tiger cage....

PS: Ika is definitely has sadistic nature in her blood. I can't wait until she's alone with Nagisa. And yes, i do hope that her tentacle will provide some fan-service, except i doubt if there's any fan-services in this anime (the show seems to target young kids as well)

From Ika Musume being completely unafraid of ghosts (whereas the rest is deathly scared, especially Gorou), yet being scared out of her wits towards her natural enemy, even if they're just floats. Next the unthinkable happens, someone is actually scared of Ika Musume. Really, another hilarious episode as usual. And when I thought Ika Musume can't get any cuter, there she goes and proves me wrong so easily. I can't even pick a single moment, from her drowning at such shallow depth, absolute fear with float predators, when she turn devious yet is so happy inside having someone who actually fear her...Hmm, maybe the best is when she eat the shrimp bait in reflex, her naiveness followed by her shame for falling into such simple traps is just too much for me. Really, I can agree with Sanae, I too want to take her home with me... __________________
