Now that I saw it again there are some parts of the story (events) changed in the anime to save some time (Kouhei taking a picture inside the church and "all of a sudden" saw that scene happening)

So yeah, that was one aspect of the characters that I think was pretty well preserved in the adaptation.
Yeah, I never played the game and all the clues I use are already there in the first episode. Well, there's a bit of personal experience influencing me too though, my situation is nowhere near as bad as Kouhei but I did changed schools a few times in high school and have pretty similar reaction as him.

Find the first episode pretty alright... except maybe a bit thin on the interactions.

Well finally watched it....

OP and ED are great......Kiriha in the ED is lovely as hell =w=

Very nice to hear the same voices and see the same backgrounds again.

My only complaint is that from Iori's prank to Kouhei seeing him drink from that girl is quite a major leap.....looks like they are pointing for quite a major cramming of events in the next ep......

I hope the series doesn't have this kind of rushed feel as a common trend but apart from that, it's not bad.

Indeed, though most of the time i feel such friends exist to highlight the good side an otherwise flawed male lead might have, unless said flaws are integral to the plot. In a "Yes, he is kinda goofy, but look at this guy! See, it could be much worse!" kind of way So far, it looks like Kouhei isn't really in need of a contrast point, as he seems like a quite decent guy
Yeah....Tsukasa himself is quite a likeable character too...

I enjoy Ono Daisuke's work, but he seems grossly miscast here. He's completely unconvincing as a 16 year-old.

Lol! my thoughts exactly

He was perfect for Kakeru in 11eyes though.

I thought the first episode was ok. The OP/ED were good too. I think I will also keep up with this one since its keeping my interest so far. My favorite character so far would have to be Seichiro since he wears glasses =D

the first ep is bland, but rarely does a show from a galgame catch your eyes in the first episode. The vampire scene is suppose to do it, but I'm not sure if Xebec/feel. captured the atmosphere correctly because I'm just not feeling it.

i'll give it another few episodes before I make my decision whether to follow it or to drop it.

I played the game, Fortune Arterial, 2 times.

Now watching the anime, is kinda an interesting feeling to see this series.

They rush the story and miss many non-interesting facts. Thats how i expected it.

Hm ...what can i say. I really want to like this title, but the presentation is kinda getting in the way for me. First half of the episode felt quite fragmented and even more "all over the place" than episode 1. The "checklist of essentials" was strong in this one. The second half was better, if somewhat silly, but ... i am not sure how to describe it, but i am having quite hard time "connecting" with the show. Perhaps it is because of how quickly they jump between the scenes, characters and topics with little transition in-between, but i find it hard to get immersed in the happenings. There is little time to settle down and absorb the mood, and the show feels emotionally dry as result for me, dare i say borderline boring. The interactions feel largely empty for me. The BGM isn't doing much for me to enhance the scenes either, considering i am not quite sure if there even was one, despite having finished watching it 5 minutes ago

I am still hoping for the show to settle down once they reach a certain point and proceed with more focus, but what they have done so far, trying to throttle through the scenes and bare-bones interactions, hasn't really worked for me. I find myself more detached than previously after this episode, so i can only hope the following weeks will deliver a less dry performance.

An amusing result indeed, i was expecting you to have a similar reaction to my own

There were decently handled things indeed, and i agree Kiriha's introduction had nothing to complain about. I didn't really like her interaction with Kouhei while he was looking for Yukimaru - that scene just jumped out of nowhere and felt to me like the authors are forcing it upon us because there is a thing or two they must establish about her character straight away. It is not so much the event itself as the interaction feeling forced.

Thinking about it, it isn't so much the fast sequence of events that bothers me, but what i feel it is doing to the characters and interactions. It might be just me, but i don't feel like the show is being all that successful in communicating the mood over. Rushing through events is the cause i suppose, but not what concerns me ultimately. I simply don't "feel" the cast, if that even makes sense

The tea scene in Kouhei's room was an exception to this indeed, and i feel both Kanade and Haruna are better off than the rest at this point, as they have had more coherent interactions with Kouhei.

I'm going to put this in a spoiler tag, because someone might consider it "biased insight", even though there are no explicit spoilers.

Spoiler for Episode 2 with maybe some game-based insight:
There's more to say, but I think I'll go to the game thread.

A little late to the party, but I'll go ahead and say what I thought of episode 1.

Spoiler for Let's go down the checklist, shall we?:

The first impression is that its pretty typical harem fanfare. What you would think of a harem set in a school setting, it's pretty much that.
But what's the gimmick? That's not a bad thing, but there's always a gimmick to this type of formula; and apparantly, this time it is:

That some of them are vampires.

...

It's most certainly not bad. AT ALL.
The art itself is pretty; a little common in terms of style, but certainly pretty and detailed.
Thankfully, the MC doesn't fall into the camp of complete wimp; rather, he's a guy that goes with the flow, so that's good; however there isn't much personality yet, something that faceless characters always suffer with.
And the whole reveal at the end left a nice cliffhanger. I guess I'll wait and watch the next episode to make any judgment final.

Thumbs up Episode 2

Interesting episode with Kohei and further development with Erika. Nice introduction of Kiriha. So tired so I will comment more later on but one thing that bothers me is that Erika actually showed her powers here=>

yet failed to save Togi's bunny but Kohei was quicker. Wonder what is so special with Kohei since I knew that the following events would match here=>
Spoiler:

In regards to Iori analyzing Kohei's blood.....but then why Seichirou would help him since I doubt he is a vampire himself. Also beautiful intermissions here=>
Spoiler:

Episode is 9/10. Pretty good so far but I am worried about Kohei's flashbacks still.

Ooh..Kiriha legs. I am in love. She's mine

In all seriousness, I'm liking how it's going. Episode 2 flowed well inmy opinion, and that's largely because I can relate to characters that move around a lot, as I too have done (and still do) so many times throughout my life due to job related stuff (so much so it's common for me to call multiple countries a "current place of residence")

So how I view this series is the life surrounding Kouhei, as episode 2 showed the various happenings to a guy getting used to new [old] surroundings. I think Kiriha's introduction was well within her demeanor, and for some reason I got a bit of a laugh when I saw the rabbit had dug a hole (I remembered the rabbits in Germany, they were a lot of fun chasing down, right into their numerous foxholes)

Overall, most importantly I like the pacing as it's giving me a calm feeling inside, which I find it funny I don't force myself to watch this series unlike PantyStockingW/boxingBelt (it's not that series' art, I just don't need sex jokes after a long day/night of brainstorming)

I'm pretty happy with how the series is going so far. Getting the characters introduced and in this one managed to settle things with Kohei and Erika. Now that he's got the apology out of the way seems things can progress.

Still that was one heck of payback for getting stood up. Actually having a spotlight shining on the guy and then saying that . Talk about making an impression to the student body.
