Have you read Bruce Lee: Fighting Spirit by Bruce Thomas? Excellent biography that really gets into Lee's philosophy as a martial artist, and the kind of book that helps you appreciate the movies even more.

Only watched the 2nd Half of Hancock. Really good movie and I would recommended it if your bored and need something to watch. The action and comedy is worth it.

Finally watched Army of Darkness after putting it off for a long time. Good thing I did. I was in the mood for awesome stop-motion and BOOMSTICKS.

O.O OMG. I actually watched that on Youtube today too! I immediately fell in love with Ash, Boomstick was indeed quite awesome I want to watch Evil Dead I and II now but I think I should put that off for a couple years, until I'm 18

Evil Dead was on the telly few nights ago, was just about to sit down to watch it but something came up that needed my attention but I was like "ahh wth, Evil Dead is on!!" I never really that for any kinda film but it has been years since I last it.

Army of Darkness is my favorite and I'm soooo in the mood to watch it now

Saw Shrek 4, not as good as 1st and 2nd films but not bad it had it's moments, mostly Puss in boots, Donkey and the little fat kid, "do it"

Saw Monsters yesterday and I have to say that although some parts are boring, I like how the alien-human conflict is presented here. (no famous builidings getting blown up, just a sombre atmosphere that depicts the causalities of both aliens and humans.)

Watched Dragon Hunters via Netflix. I enjoyed this quite a bit - its quirky, amazing scenery, and even has a twin-tailed princess. The story is a bit awkwardly constructed but the journey is just fun with some very innovative critters. Its a French-made film... very nicely done.

I still haven't seen it (and thanks for reminding me that I should), but the graphic novel is superb. Definitely worth reading if you liked the movie.

Rewatched District 9. Watched it thrice now; At the cinema, DVD at home with Commentary a couple of months back and tonight without commentary. Simply because it's one of the best movies ever created and it doesn't really get old.

enemy mine (1985, i think)

Well, the last movie I've watched in theater was The Dilemma. Two best friends, one finds out his best friend's wife is cheating on him, he's in conflict with himself whether he should tell his best friend or not, fretting that it would interfere with their project.

Toy Story 3 on DVD. I'm amazed at how it can still get some kind of emotion out of me, even after I've watched it several times, with other people in the room. I guess I'm just a major softie.

^^ Nah, that movie did that for a lot of people.

And there's nothing wrong being a softie. I mean, it does at least prove that you have a heart.

Century of the Dragon (Long Zai Bian Yuan) - one of many HK Triad/undercover cop movies. It's pretty standard, if you've genre savvy enough, you'll know how the story's going to go. It's also neither spectacularly bad or spectacularly good. One thing I find annoying about the movie is the camera work; the shaky cam, the constant close ups, and the often dim lighting makes the fight scenes hard to follow and as a result less exciting.
