I do not watch many movies at all... In the past year I have seen 2.

Last one was How to Train Your Dragon.

Finally watched Toy Story 3 today. Tried to hold back my tears but failed to do so. Aww. I loved it.

Saw Prince of Persia.
You guys were right, a lot more entertaining than I thought it would be. Jake Gyllenhaal pulled of the prince rather charmingly

I saw Knight and Day a couple hours ago.
It was not bad but not good either, enjoyable but undeveloped characters who seem dense, silly and down right typical plotwise build to fall in love at first sight without knowing each other or having any development in the relationship.. they just see each other and heck there goes dem lips... and Tom Cruise sucks at kissing

prince of persia sucked. its too hollywoody for a movie set in ancient persia. the protagonist keeps mouthing off these american slang type phrases like its the way to go and the alamut princess acts like a typical whore with no dignity. parcour tricks are nothing amazing either. i've seen amateur videos that are 10 times better, not to mention Yamakasi.
Robin hood. wow. really? that was a story about THE robin hood??? i'd never guess, cause there was like 1 instance of him actually robbing someone. the previous robin hood was better...considerably. watch it if you respect yourselves.

watched "9" today for the second time. I watched it in the movie theater when it came out. It also came out on my birthday! (sept. 9)

Prince of Darknesss. Uh, yea. Carpenter. Love. Need I say more.

Evil Dead 2. For epic gory lulz. "...Groovy..."

Will probably watch The Fog from -80 tomorrow. Also by Carpenter.

Cromartie Highschool Live Action

It was actually pretty good.

I loved the anime a lot more but I appreciated everything they tried in the movie. When the Masked Takaneuchi shows up without a mask to help them fight, I too was wondering who it was until he walks all the way home to confirm he didn't have the mask on.

"No wonder it felt windy..."

Watched Toy Story 3 yesterday. It was easily one of the best movies I've watched in a while and a fantastic end to the series.

Cloverfield
Was on TV yesterday. I didn't really hurry to watch it ... and I can't say I should have watched it sooner. Cool effects but otherwise pretty meh.
I chuckled at one scene pretty much, though when one of the women shouted at the dude behind the camera to shut up - that's what I've been doing for quite some time, too. Really he couldn't keep it shut for one minute.

The Good, The Bad and The Ugly. I wish they still made movies this good. The story was amazing and although it was slow, it also made the climax all the more worthwhile to watch. The acting was some of the best I've ever seen from any movie, and the music was spectacular.

Identity. Thought it was a standard thriller but turned out to be a big, positive, surprise, which I really liked.

Burn after reading
Had some amusing scenes, but overall just ... just ...anti climatic? xD. I'm disappointed, since it had a shiny cast and I have a thing for weirdness, but oh well.
The thing that I'll remember most will be the chair. It runs without electricity, how smart is that?!

@AtomicoX: That's the John Cussak movie, right? Fun film, a little predictable, but still a lot of fun.

I've been on a Joe Dante kick recently (inspired, in part, by the release of Piranha 3-D in a few weeks). Going back, I've re-watched his classics: the schlocky but fun Piranha, Gremlins and Gremlins 2 (Gremlins 2 has some great parodies and comedy), the fun Explorers and Innerspace, the absolutely amazing Matinee, and the criminally underappreciated Tom Hanks film The 'Burbs. Dante may be nothing more than B-Movie director, but he made some damn fine entertainment.

Yea, that's the one. Have to admit it was sort of predictable after a certain scene for me too, but enjoyed it thoroughly anyway.
