Dunno about her attack, but after seeing that hat, now I realized that her goddess costume looked like a typical S&M costume, coupled with that hat and that (probably) whip-like weapon

Nice that Inafune is still in the game but what I'm wondering if he's still part of the dev team. It wouldn't be wrong to attribute the improvements in game mechanics and formula to his advising/direction. Plus after the Capcom fiasco it's nice to see he's still doing things in gaming and still cares for an industry he views as broken. What better way to convey his feelings than through a video game about said industry? Well, seeing the kond of person he is he probably doesn't meddle with the vision of the creators to that degree.

Still wary about the screenshots and supposed graphical improvements. That's something we'll have to wait and see.

The thing, of all the male gundam seiyuus Kana has worked with. Kamiya's have been paired up with Kana, we could probably use Zehart instead but there is the whole tradition of Gundam Meisters and Planeptune goddesses. It is like a ritual now for Gundams for Peace to serve Planeptune.

Also, Uni must be REALLY desperate for Gundams given how she collects the decapitated head of Shinn Asuka

Inafune was never part of the dev team. His only involvement was to show up as a cameo, and he gave them ideas on how to depict the summon move.

This was a clever tactic on Idea Factory's part because it lent them some high profile credibility. Additionally, IF used his name to drum up some hype for Mugen Souls, for which they selected a new producer/project manager (the businessman dancing around in the initial PV) with the same name as Inafune.

Most likely the MSX, but with an obvious Xbox design pattern: it isn't the first time Neptune franchise uses anachronism and whatnot (especially in this case, where PS era is nowhere close to the Famicom... heck, Blanc isn't even hinted to shift into her Super Famicom period, despite Noire's goddess form).

I didn't know that. I guess the marketing stunt worked. Well at least we know he isn't so uptight about his likeness being used. Having Master Higgins himself tell me to sit away from the TV and play in a well lit room was enough to give the game street cred.
