I don't think he will become a permanent member. He may join them until they reach Merman Island. That place really now is in some serious danger. The fact he can't swim yet explain why he hasn't gone there yet.

I think the greatest weakness of Kizaru is that he needs to charge and gather energy before releasing any move. It makes sense seeing how powerful his attacks are. He may hit anything with absolute speed and accuracy, but he has to charge and aim first.

Where was this ever stated? I've actually heard that this is a rumor made up by the fans.

Yeah, that particular "fact" about Lucky is, as far as I know, a rumor. I dunno where the source of the rumor lies, but I think it may share the same source as the one about Mihawk being able to cut the elements (the latter rumor actually seems a lot more likely, though)........

Lucky Roo is probably not fast. This is, obviously, speculation though...

I think I'll really need to look through those books one day, my brother bought every single one of the books but we never looked through them all because there's just too much info.

Myth or not, I dont think anything can be faster than light after this point anyway.Unless Roux ate a time based devil fruit

You shouldn't do that, I suggest, no I insist that you read the manga from the start.

Oh, if you're crossing from anime to manga, it shouldn't be that bad. My apologies, I thought you're new to One Piece and went straight to Impel Down arc.

But to answer your original question, yes Ace is dead.

I 've read manga also only from the point where the anime stops and just now caught up on Mini-arcs - specifically Ace's Great Blackbeard Search

And i just remembered: NO DEATHS / DEATH SCENES
isn't ODA himself noted this?!
(then we can't take the NO ROMANCE thing seriously... altho its off topic so i just mention it...)

Oda never said no deaths, he said he doesn't kill off characters needlessly.

It's true that Oda's broken a couple of his own rules before (for instance, he said in the past that any supernatural phenomenon that happens in the series would be the result of Devil Fruits only..... and yet in the Water 7 arc he introduced the concept of ships being alive ), but he's always been especially firm with the "no romance" rule. So even if we've got a few character deaths and ships with souls, that doesn't exactly guarantee that Luffy will be marrying bloody Boa Hancock or whatever.

Anyway, I wonder what Buggy's up to? I know he said that he'd stick with Shanks until he left Marineford, but I wonder what he'll do then? In past threads I've already said I predicted his old crew coming back to him, though I wasn't sure whether or not his Impel Down followers would be added amongst their ranks, as well (seems highly likely to be the case now, though.....). I especially want Mr. 3 to stick with Buggy since the both of them share a passion for material wealth (that, and they just plain make an awesome team! ). Anyway, if Buggy's old crew returns to him, I'm hoping that they'll ditch Alvida since she was the one who had convinced them to abandon their captain in the first place (but she'll probably stick around anyway since Buggy's pretty much her best bet at catching up to Luffy)......

Buggy will probably track down St. John's treasure now that he has the armband (I sure hope Luffy doesn't mention that to Nami), then head for the New World. I could totally see Buggy and his new+old crew continuing to bumble their way across the Grand Line against all odds.
