Yeah Manju got her days confused and made the thread a full 24hrs earlier then normal....has anyone seen my brain?

It's going to be pretty tough to top the last episode because that was easily one of the most well executed episodes I've ever seen in anime. I'm going to make a haste attempt in catching up with the manga now. :P

yeah, that ending scene was probably Al's most impressive so far (next to the Lust battle that is).

This show keeps topping itself each episode, and I love it ^_^

Love the new OP and ED too, as you said, CMA.

Thought the new OP sucked (at least music-wise) but I'll make another decision once I see it again in better quality. ED was very nice, but not my style.

Loved the 5th OP! The song is emotionally sad but fitting and gives hints to a bittersweet ending (that would be nice if it comes true!^^). The visual is beautiful! This may become my favorite OP.

The 5th ED...well, I'm not very fond of the still pics but aside from that it's a good song and may grow on me over time.

Not a big fan of the OP or ED. OP is way too mellow and has zero action sequences. Plus the antagonists get really shafted in it. ED is a boring slideshow, Shoko-tan deserved better.

Oh well, I've heard the episode itself is great and that's what matters.

The 5th opening was awesome, plus it has Rose which I find funnier than hell as she had got much more screen time in the first series. As for the antagonist getting shafted, I watch this series for the heroes not the villains. I would rather have Izumi and Sig in the opening than Envy anyday of the week.

That and I loved the fact that people where soaked in blood, just an epic scene.

Funny, I watch it for, uh, well-written and entertaining characters, regardless of their alignment. But I guess that's just me.

The last shot in the OP shows the brothers' house with a green roof. That's a good sign I guess, but the lack of Al near the end (the scenes with Ed sleeping and Winry watching) worries me. I hope it doesn't mean something bad would happen to him in the end. They should've shown all 3 of them in that scene, imo.

I don't really like the OP's song, but the animation is pretty damn awesome even if it's not as action packed as I thought it'd be. And yeah quite a few spoilers in it, but the biggest ones probably won't be noticed by the anime only watchers. I love the ED's song, and it fit well with Al's crowing moment of awesome at the end of the episode. Though I do think it looked a bit more badass in the manga:
