If you want to continue the story, then i'd recommend just to start reading the manga from the beginning. The second season is good, though it's mostly filler and doesn't go anywhere. The later OVA's do an outstanding job of adapting the source material, though if you're not reading the manga then you'll be left wanting a lot more.
So my advice would be to skip the second season and jump right into the manga. Start from the beginning, and just watch the OVA's once you've passed them in the manga, because they're worth a watch.

How should I watch xxxHOLIC?
TRC thread Maybe not exactly what you're looking for, but glance at them, might help a bit. Since you just finished the first season, you could always watch the second one and the OVAs, but like Shiroth said it would be best to just read the manga from scratch and take it all the way to the end.

If you do want to actually watch all the Tsubasa anime then this is the order you should do it in
Tsubasa Chronicle Tsubasa Chronicle: Princess of the Birdcage Kingdom (Movie) Tsubasa Chronicle season 2 Tsubasa Tokyo Revelations Tsubasa Shunraiki Although be warned the TV series and the OVAs are separate continuities and the Movie is non-canon. If you want to watch it with xxxholic then the order is Spoiler for List Order:

It's kinda hard to recommend xxxholic adaptation along with the Tsubasa one seeing as though holic does away with all the content from Tsubasa which can be found in the manga, and ties the two titles together.

But as far as the movie and Shunraiki are concerned this isn't the case. There really is no reason to NOT watch xxxholic besides not wanting to watch it.

You can switch in between volumes so that you don't miss out on the action and plot progression (it can be VERY confusing at times, TRC in particular). Dunno about Kobato...but if you decide to read TRC, the second season will look like a ton of filler, you've been warned :P

Yeah you can read both manga titles at your own pace. Just read what you're in the mood for really.
As for Kobato, there's just something added in the anime adaptation that plays alongside the ending with Tsubasa Chronicle. It's quite nice, though only one episode which you can easily read up about once you've finished the manga.
