Watched the raw just than, enjoyed it considering I didn't know what they were saying, will watch it again asap once it's subbed, liked the OP/ED, animation quality was fairly good from what I can tell, voicework and bgm was nice too.

The OP looks so fun. I really enjoyed seeing Takuto just run through the stylised background and the caharacters, especially the parts where he jumps down the stairs.

Song still sucks tho, mainly the parts before the chorus. At least TV size means that horrid solo of pure screechy noise isn't in it.

I thought OP would be like that: "Giant Robots, boom! Bang!", etc, but what I find here? A fabuluous, non-stream and unusual op. Great job, Bones!
But I still didn't watch the episode because my internet sucks. ><

The ED is up: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MbUjN1HrhoU

Warning: The first 10 seconds is the last 10 seconds of the episode, because the ED song starts early.

Tears of joy, Nakamura is back!

Awesome action sequence, and a very nice OP. And that's all I have watched so far. I'll give some more impressions when I get around watching the whole episode, haha.

That's what I was looking for a answer more or less just needed someone to mention it. Ok, no problem then. Just I was a little about why that part was there.

I assume that is because transformation sequences are going to with girl like that maybe...reminds me of Basquash a little around some parts.

Like Shiroth said it does not mean it can't have ecchi. You remember Kanokon? If you no let me tell you that I read it was ecchi yet aired at 3pm so what you mention might not apply so. Only thing about it is there will not be nipples or things like in Ladies VS Butlers or Queen's Blade.

BTW to who gave me minus rep points about my mention here.....not trying anything bad but just trying to raise some questions and opinions about regarding the scene that is NSFW.

AWWW I've already watched ep to the end too. Takuto-sama. >///<
You're so fabulous.

I want to be Wako. Damn it. If I can replace her at the ED.

OK.Talk about this ep in the more serious way.OK I can't translation it at ALL.But with something that I understand from my own eyes. I really like the charming that the main characters had.Wako likes to eat too much.Sugata-kun has animal-ears maids And the way that he called CPR is the first kiss is....
Don't forget Takuto who is totally idiot. Damn... I love it.

And the action scene is superb too. So fabulous in every aspect.

Anyway need the sub to understand overall story.

The story's actually pretty good. Well, it's basically what we expected, but the dialogue is sharp and more about interplay between the characters rather than going around in circles explaining the plot. As expected, Enokido's writing is a cut above the average anime writer's.

Here's what I'm wondering about the OP:

It's obviously storyboarded and directed to look like a single cut animation, but stuff like that is usually animated by one person. But yet the credits list an animation director, a mecha animation director, a motion designer, a layout artist, and a whooping 10 keyframe animators, and an art designer. That's a lot of different staff to simulate a one cut animation.

I'm guessing that the "motion designer" (Hiroki Tanaka) did a rough animation sequence for the entire thing, mostly to time all of Takuto's movements along with all the other elements. It's likely that only one or possible 2-3 at most of the keyframe animators then polished up and did detailed animation for Takuto's movement sequence as the main element, while the other keyframe animators animated the various elements separately (the students walking, the bike and cars, the ferret, the mecha, etc). Nakamura probably animated the sequence of Tauburn coming out of the water, since that looks very similar to his sort of work.

Thoughts?
