Well, the episode was overall nice and interesting. I like Halibel's style and her sword looks awesome. Well, she looks awesome, too. I wish there was another episode this week.

Sorry kids, but, either you don't understand the meaning of the word hint, either you need to get some glasses:

Quote:
Absolutely no manga spoilers in any anime-only threads such as the weekly Episode Discussion threads. That means, no hints, or vague remarks about a future event from the manga, even within the spoiler tags. Inability to observe this rule will result in a BAN!
Other option you don't read the first post, which is hard to believe since everyone has to read monir's post.

The concerned members got a warning (because I'm lenient), the others, please don't quote the hints/spoiler to make it even more severe...

[censored]

Edit by Hellychan : You can never be sure of something in the anime unless it happens (in the manga, that is).

P.S. By the way, question to only anime watchers who were not spoiled yet. What do you think Barragan represents? Manga readers were not able to speculate here since scene is changed in anime.

Though if remember OP, I think you can guess... but who knows.

As the answer to your question needs to contain spoilers, you can find it here
I recommend those who can't help venting out about the manga in the anime thread, to use that specific thread in the future.

Yet you had removed any mentioning about sacrifice aspect too

But oh well, I can repeat myself about it. Anime provided far better explanation about Halibel's being

I like that the anime team had the balls to add a Hallibel flashback, it gives me hope for future filler arcs. I would really like to see an arc about how Aizen conquered HM, it would be cool to see the treacherous trio in action, especially if they didn't have to face the seemingly immortal cast of heroes.

^That would be the best filler arc ever.
I definetly would watch that, espada getting the attention they deserve would be the best thing to happen in Bleach.

Hack, I would watch it even if I had abondened Bleach by then

Did they change Hallibel's release outfit this episode? It seems different than last episodes'.

Also, on a somewhat unrelated note, I just watched the new OP for the first time, its pretty awesome, but really loaded with spoilers.

Lol took you long enough

The OP had basicly spoiled the biggest part of the upcoming 24 episodes

And about Halibel... it looks like they decided to leave her nipples on place

If I had to guess at this point, I'd think that Barragan's death aspect be death itself. But that'd it'd be more fitting if he was #1, like the other Espadas are nothing compared to...THE REAL THING. Too corny I guess

For a while thought the lack of petals showed some power growth on Hitsugaya's part. That he had moved past the point of them being necessary. Maybe the whole thing was intentional or maybe they just didn't feel like animating the petals moving along with him during the fight .

Probably later because I think that he himself had made a comment about petals... I think that line has to come next week, wonder if they will draw petals then or will ignore the line completly. would be funny if they had sudenlu appeared out of nowhere.

I'm glad Gin's back doing the arrancar encyclopedia again. Best part of the show.

Any episode where Hitsu eats the dirt is a good one in my book. Also, I am pleasantly surprised that it seems the animation team consistently ungarbles the Bleach fight imagery into something sensible.

Is this the same Hitsugaya that Aizen beat with one finger?

Also, isn't anyone else getting weary of all the battles that has been going on. None of them are really interesting except parts of Ichigo vs Ulquiorra. And it looks like there are more of the same battles in the near future.

Yeah, that was my favorite part of the episode. Its a shame that we are almost out of Arrancars for Gin to talk about.

I'm pretty sure Ai-chan used a sword on Shiro-chan.

I just have a question for Anime watchers-- does it bother you that the opening credits always show what's to come?

Like Ulq's release, for example. It just looks like really big spoilers to me and it honestly ticks me off, since those are supposed to be jaw dropping scenes but there you get a preview of them

I don't think anyone besides mods on this forum cares at all about anime only watchers. To be honest I'm a little confused by them myself, how could you like a series enough to want to talk about it on the internet, but not like it enough to want to read the original source? That's kind of disrespectful to Kubo. (Not that anyone here cares about that)
