He already said that he's waiting for Ichigo. You would think that with so little actually happening in Bleach lately, people would be able to remember things that the main villain says mere chapters ago.

Ok, so can someone answer me this. Why is Kubo deciding to bring in the minor secondary and tertiary characters in and give them panel time? I do not mind as long as it progresses the story, but trying to understand why Aizen is taking his time with them. Is it because he wants to blatently kill them out-right infront of Ichigo when he appears?

Honestly, I can't remember, it's been too long since his last omake...

Something to do with the things that Ichigo wants to protect, and how they're about to die...maybe it's his ticket to beating Tensa Zangetsu. They're more like plot chips than characters now, their development has been near zero ever since bleach started.

Very true, but it is sort of sad though. Of all the characters presented so far in this little chase, Tatsuki was the one that had a good potential of being a more prominent support character.

Also, I am wondering how these upcoming chapters are going to be handled when it is animated. If I recall, they had their little Power Ranger episode that tied in with the current arc in which they bought time for the town to be barriered and transfered to the Soul Society. So I am wondering if the animators are going to be going by the manga material or their own material.

The end of this chapter caught my interest with the whole "a sense of discomfort between the two!?" comment. Perhaps we'll see Aizen vs Gin after all?

Honestly, its hard to remember. Ai-tan's dialogue is mostly along the lines of "Something Something Something Dark Side...Something Something Something Complete"...

Yeah it piqued my interest too in so far as I laughed at the notion that Kubo was trying to suggest he actually had a plot.

It's a great lesson for all future mangakas. When your story has zero plot and bland, one-dimensional characters just put a suspenseful line at the end of each chapter to restore your reader's hope that you are actually taking this shit show somewhere.

Did I see this correct: The Afro Shinigami also has a double sword? At least in one panel he seems to have the sword in one hand, and in the next one he rams this hand into the ground carrying a sword in the other hand. So much about this kind of sword beeing rare.

And how long does Ichigo take? I guess about half an hour happened already in the real world, so he should be fighting for quite some days now. And how long is Isshin able to stay awake?

Isshin only has the 3 months, (about 1 hr in the real world) and he's looking pretty much on his last reserves so it's probably almost been 1hr. Ichigo's been going hard at it dueling Zanichigo. Looks like we'll only get to see maybe the final part of their fight.
