The thing that attracts me about this show, besides Shinbou and Shaft, is the name of the anime character designer: Nishida Asako (as mentioned by sirn). I loved her work on Simoun and Touka Gettan and was just wondering when she would get another show. Great to see her linked with Shinbou.

I'm intrigued to see the uber-cute Oogame Asuka get the lead, thrilled that talented Katou Emiri is becoming one of Shinbou's go-to girls for secondary characters, and happy to see Nonaka Ai get a role.

The same author's "Usotsuki Miikun to Kowareta Maachan" (mentioned by kemal_1915) is being scanlated on Mangafox. Definitely not your usual fare. Three chapters of the Denpa Onna manga are scanlated in Chinese: for instance, ttp://www.imanhua.com/comic/2013/ (links at bottom of page).

Right image seems to be anime character design.

Looking good, though I wish skin color would have less red….

The anime design looks incredibly good. Almost too good to be true

I stand by what I said earlier. Erio is hot as hell.

No way that's the anime design. Looks like Buriki did both images, imo.

The second part of this image is actually an anime character design for Erio

if that's the anime design, I don't really like it. actually, I don't like the picture. I might want to see how it looks in an illustration, though.

There is a clear difference in drawing style. Right one is much more on the road of Shoujo style touch.

Maybe you're right. It would be really cool if Shaft released a PV during the upcoming Comiket 79, to clear all doubts.

Nishida Asako said she has done small PV cut for TAF 2011 before the boycott, but she's not sure if it is going to be shown at C79 instead or not. Official site says the right image was drawn by Nishida Asako, though.

I have seen some images from the LN before and the 'aunt' seems like a riot.

No footage yet, I guess it is too soon after all.

But those last two images of Erio are the anime design. Looks great, way too great. I wonder how it will look in motion...

Hell yes....Me Me chan is more like one of the kids than an adult....

And yeah, the anime design looks like something straight out of the novels. Excellent.

Looks like something you'd print on a dakimakura.

Anime original design:

I think the original design done for the anime looks great. Though, I like Buriki design for the novels, which is even more great.

But what worries me is the style of animation Shaft gives to their series... hope they make a good job with the animation instead of abusing with the camera angles and a lot of signs everywhere.

I will probably watch this show in the end, though I'm hoping they treat Buriki's original designs with great care, which is probably the one thing I wanted to see done well regardless of the staff.
I'm worried since I knew Shaft will do this; for some series the studio can be good but I don't think Denpaonna is the of series Shaft can handle well :S.

BTW lets not forget that there are rumors that Soredemo is getting a second season and that because of the Hidamari contest they are talking about a fourth season of Hidamari.
=_=+ *My attention got caught*
Is a baseless rumor or is a chance of getting one?
