I go to "edit" but there is no "delete" button anywhere to be seen...

You are not allowed to. Deleting the topic would delete other peoples posts too.

You can't. You can only change the topic name in the first 10 minutes after creating it.

Hit the

report icon next to your post and ask for a topic title change in the box.

Or going along with what felix said you can use the report button to tell one of us to delete the thread if you still want that. We don't mind
