Could someone translate that particular conversation? I wonder if it's ever explained why Imca hates mushrooms so much.

It appears that the cutscenes have been done much better compared to VC2.

I can't translate it, but if I had to guess, Imca probably ate some poisonous mushrooms at one point and, well, mystery solved.

Some things I noted after watching that video clip.

- There might be less audio dialogue throughout the story. This may be a good or bad thing depending on whether you like English audio or not.

- Tanks appear to be nerfed quite a great deal through limiting the ammo of the main gun. No more rampaging around in a 1 CP tank like you could in VC2. The tank in that video still uses 1 CP, but this is balanced out by the fact that you need an Engineer around to keep feeding it ammo if you want to use the tank a lot. Guess that's something that would make me want to use Engineers more often.

- Recycling the maps from VC2 seems to be a bit of a copout, although it can be argued that Gallia is quite a small place.

- In previous VC games, most of the characters used the same male or female bodies, with only a head swap to differentiate. This time, you've got a fair bit of diversity with uniforms and body types (like the fat guy with the radio), and a greater amount of detail overall.

- Having real-time mortar fire if you get spotted makes for a better challenge than before. In previous games, getting spotted by mortars was only a problem if you couldn't get out of the blast area before the enemy phase.

- It appears that Imca's weapon has a universal mounting system, since it can be used to fire lance rockets. Darcsen innovation at work? I kinda noticed that Imca has wide hips (probably accentuated by her armour around that area).

- The guy playing the game in that video doesn't take enough risks, and often wastes AP. No wonder he only got C for that mission.

Wow, Imca has either terrible luck, or terrible life skills LOL

Started playing this. Agree that interception fire is now really damaging, but so far so good. Early missions are grind-friendly.

Seems that there's a character who I'm not familiar with in the previous page with the cameos.

The pic in question's above Cosette.

I would think that they are Audrey and Baldren. Don't forget: In this war, they fight for Galia.

It would be very interesting if Imca and Layla knew the true story behind their people's origins.

Andriasang: Phantasy Star Portable 2 Infinity's Nagisa Appears In Valkyria Chronicles 3

Would she get mistaken for a Darcsen?

AS the well known Resident Darcsen Fanboy here... hmmm... I'm not sure, if I didn't know where she'd come from then yes! Her hair+eye match those of Darcsens.

I don't know if it's me, but the third game does seem to need a lot more grinding than the first 2. Still, the difficulty is going up. Looking at my first 4 star chapter. Oh, Lordy...

Nendoroid Riela up for Preorder

She comes with weapons such as her memento knife as well as her Valkyrian spear and shield. She also comes with the Nendoroid original weapon which looks something like a crowbar. This weapon can be unlocked within the game by using the special product code found with the Nendoroid!
So you can unlock a crowbar for ingame use with this DLC... The One Free Man shall be most pleased...

That looks great. I love that the crowbar has a ribbon on it, just to flower it up.
I can't wait to see some good pictures of the Imca nendo with her weapon.

What's with the Crowbars? Are they channeling Gordon Freeman?

I suspect it's got something to do with Riela's hair. They share some similarities.

That being said, taking out enemies with a crowbar is kinda cool compared to the Armored Techs in VC2. Are those classes in VC3 at all?

Indeed. On both counts.
