Image context, particularly as she's holding a martini glass, suggests a particularly daring and risque evening dress.

Such dresses do exist in real life. As Melissa Mao would say, it's the kind of dress you can't wear underwear with and you feel practically naked wearing it.

From what we've seen I really wasn't impressed with Imca, both from a character and design standpoint, but I really like that picture - again, both from a character and design standpoint, as it shows she has some sort of emotion besides the little we've seen of her before. A smile goes a LONG way. Chalk up points for Imca.

I am kind of hoping to see some more male characters shown. Kurt is the only male character I know of at this point. Do we have any info on any of the guys in the unit? I've seen one or two in screens, but nothing that gives more than a dude in a snapshot.

The one with the dress gown and the Valkyria Battle Dress ( with horns! ) is Raita's work. And the Alicia/Selvaria one. Really, you can recognise it easily by just looking at the...anoxeric waistlines.

Though not all of the art shown are Raita's. He's probably doing the same as what he did for VC1 and VC2. Provide the lineart, and do some official art every now and then in very minuscule amounts, and leave the rest to the game art design adapter and any other official artist.

Raita doesn't seem to really do a lot of Valkyria related official art beyond the minimum he is expected to ( being paid and all ).

I've downloaded the Demo but I can't get it to work - is there any specific firmware/custom firmware needed?

...this is the only thing I hate about my PSP - I have to update the firmware...

Well the love triangle is good and strong it seems.

I'm gunning for Imca but something tells me she'll be killed saving Reila and Kurt right near the end.

I loved the end of the OP how Imca and Reila turn and smile at the camera (Kurt I assume) but then Imca pouts when she notices Reila smiling as well.

Just reminds me of Alicia.
