I'm impressed ... looks like I'll be giving this a try for a while. I'm an OSS fan but this is like Azeurus<->utorrent in performance and footprint.

Answer :: You add a new tag.

Well, actually two, one for spoiler with title and one for spoiler withought.
GHD explained the code a while back, I believe the post is in this thread.
* It's just a matter of seraching & copy/pasting more or less..
Post Scriptum
Double posting (or whatever) is BAD.
And also not allowed.

To add a spoiler tag you type in something like this:
...spoiler content bla bla bla..
I didn't want make a new topic for this, but its spoiler tag related. Sometimes when I'm to lazy to read the forums, I only read my e-mail notifications. Well, this is a problem because the spoiler tags slip through and I've been spoiled a couple times because of it . Is there a way the admins could parse the email notifications so spoilers are eliminated altogether?

I use to go to another board, where the spoilers tags never reveled themselves in the e-mail notifys so I;m sure its possible.

Hmm... are you running firefox and have such plugins as NoScript or such.

Concerning your description, are you unable to:
  1. click the "show" button for a box like:
    Spoiler for Click me Example:
  2. use the Wrap Spoiler Tag button () in the editor

That works just fine. The problem appears to be really complicated (to fix). Aparently if you use anything but the quick reply window the buttons will get covered by some layer and become both unclickable and selectable (you should normally be able to drag select the options). This isn't limited (in my case) to just the spoiler button but all of them.

I'm sorry Zero, I don't think it's fixable. At least not by animesuki staff (because of the policies).

For me the quick reply box in the thread works just fine, it's only when I go into adv. mode that it fails.
You could try using quick reply or just writing the tags
(there's really nothing special about the button; I don't use it anyway)

I think I know what your problem is... You need to drag your cursor over and highlight the words you wish to put into the spoiler then click the spoiler button, or it won't work, at least it doesn't for me. At least I think that's what your getting at. Although I have encountered some spoiler buttons that appear to do nothing when I click them, I think cats ^ could be on to something there.

That often happens when people post images (and nothing else) in the spoiler. If the image fails to load (for whatever reason) the spoiler appears to fail because the browser renders nothing even after it is open.
