PMK23 Playback problem

Hi I used BT to d/l PMK23. I tried downloading it twice and it still wouldn't play. Windows Media Player would crash everytime when I tried to run the file. Does anyone else have the same problem?

oh by the way, I've done the CRC check and it's fine. It's so frustrating...may be I'll try hunting it down on IRC...

It's extremely difficult (read: sort of impossible) to get corrupted files with BT (except you stop the download before it's finished of course or the problem was in the distributed file, which will be noticed fast usually). So if BT finishes your file it should be OK (you can try to run CRC, too, to make sure, but it's not needed usually).

So as usual it is most likely a codec problem and not a problem with the file. Just uninstall all those those other (most likely too old or too new/beta) codecs and follow the Media Configuration Guide.

aaahhh thanks. I think that could be it. My computer had to be restarted and I forgot to pause the file before I restart. May be that's the reason why it's corrupted.
