Crunchyroll will be streaming Strange+ worldwide except for Japan. [Source]

This wasn't on my radar at all. But CR's description:
Quote:
Based on an original manga written and illustrated by Beruno Mikawa, Strange+ is a comedic slice-of-life anime with a dash of mystery thrown in as well, focused on a boy named Kou who’s searching for his brother Takumi. However, once finding him, it appears that Takumi has started his own detective agency and has no intention of going home, and so Kou decides to join his brother in the agency as well.
and the cast certainly makes this a Will Try for me.

Believe it or not this one _was_ on my radar, though for some reason I was not really expecting it to be picked up for whatever reason....

So Takumi is the one with blue hair and is a trap?

I checked this series out on ANN, but it looks like the episodes are only 5 minutes long. Are all the episodes going to be this short? If I decide to check this anime out, well, I prefer the normal length of episodes to short ones.

It's by studio Seven. They always make short eps unlike it's an OAD... or hentai

0___0. You watch anime and still don't know this term? OAD is an OVA that goes as addition to manga/LN/VN/game and not as separate DVD/BD.

Yeah, I saw the acronym a while back and just didn't know what it meant. What does OAD stand for? Also, if it doesn't go on DVD and BD, how can people obtain it (other than fansubs)? For example, with Strange Plus, do Japanese consumers have to get the content on disc via a manga purchase? Since it won't release on disc, many westerners might as well download the fansubs, it seems.

That is one effective Trap. If I didn't know before checking out the promo picture I wouldn't have guessed it.

It goes on DVDs. Just that it sold as bonus to some exclusive edition of the thing adapted and not as separate thing. Sometimes they put DVD version as OAD and than release BD-version as separate OVA later(see Nozoki Ana for example).

And Strange+ has nothing to do with it. It's normal series with 5 min eps. I just mention it because of Morita-san wa Mukuchi which had 2 seasons of short series and couple of OADs(1 normal 30 minute length and two short if I remember right).
